Just saw on Pierre Pienaar's aka P.H.A.T.T. myspace, that he is playing for G.O.D. on July 14th - fuck yeah. Really like his pumping hardtrance style

Just though i'd share some of my hard dance thoughts.

I really recommend Yoshi's peaktime mix, I've recently reviewed, Pharmacy vol.5, Central energy 21, Masif hard trance anthems and peak time, and Yoshi's is the best mix, the Organ donors are fucking awesome, but I just love Yoshi's pumping melodic hard trance.

Really liking BK - P.O.S.51 (P.H.A.T.T. remix) and Jason Cortez - Shining is Ecstasy.

I think Ben and Wid are cool, they make me laugh

Peaktime is back.

OVERVIEW:
The music of Australia's most well know DJ Peewee Ferris, has been flooding and shaping the Australian and International music scene for almost 20 years. Very few musicians are lucky enough to have enjoyed huge successes as both a top DJ and as a commercially renowned music producer, yet Peewee Ferris has managed both of these roles with seamless style.

Whether it be Djing at his residency at Sublime @ Home nightclub to 2,000 people each weekend, touring Australia, touring the world, being nominated for an ARIA award for his artist album "Social Narcotic" receiving gold record status for the ARIA top 10 single "I Feel It", featuring in top 100 DJ polls all over the world or composing the music for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Peewee Ferris has built an enormous profile and is a bonafide Australian dance music legend.

Peewee headlines all major Australian dance events and tours, including Chemical Brothers Australian Tour 2002, Two Tribe Tours, the Gatecrasher tours, Slinky tours, just about all the Big Day Out Festival Events since1990, Utopia Events, and Fuzzy Events.

Pewee Ferris (Peaktime) is Pewee's first mixed CD for some time and is eagerly awaited by his legion of fans. It is an up to the minute collection of the tunes rocking the dancefloors during Peewee's infamous DJ sets.

How are Ferris' live sets? He's playing here on Sunday, worth catching his live set if it overlaps with another decent DJ? What kind of stuff does he play these days?

I havent seen Pee Wee Ferris play for a few years now. The man has been around awhile but the sound he is playing now really isnt my thing.

His set was actually a lot better than I was expecting, wasn't so sure after listening to his productions on the net, but it was hard, tech-ish trance, really good stuff.

Posted by St. Luke on Jun-13-2007 07:08:

^^ yeah his set @ the last PLAY party was exactly that, hard electro/tech trance.. was wicked!!

Got my tik for next Pharm!

Cant wait

Got the Cd Charlee, my exams finish next tuesday, will have a review done a couple of days after that.

Would be interested in hearing the Peewee CD, do you know if you can get your hands on the new Elevate CD mixed by Kevin Energy and Phil York.

Proteus was at Winter Enchanted last weekend, why didn't he come to Melbourne? Anyone know if he's scheduled to play later this year?

Maybe he's coming end of year who knows.
His sets are up & down.
Although if he plays the way he played Labour Day w.e last year, it will be absolute mayhem!

It also seems we missed out on RX and Alex Szhala, damn really wanted to see these two

Posted by taubs on Jun-15-2007 02:17:

According to Blutonium Boy and Dj Neo's myspace they're both playing at Pharmacy in early November, does that mean we get Pharmacy in Septembet, November and Kryal in December and then Sunshine People? That's almost one a month.

Furthermore, if there is a Pharmacy in november these dudes are also in Australia Tatanka, Luna, Pavo, Alex Kidd, Randy Katana and Luca Antolini. Wouldn't mind seeing the last three.
