porsches have insane handling too. i drove a 996 carrera about 5 months ago. damn that was fun. the harder you push the gas the more that rear end squats to get traction.

heh...fastest I've ever gone was when a friend drove me around in his dad's GT2...my GOD, that thing is incredible .

Handling > Power

...and the reason why I'll probably never buy an American car. They just don't get it. I can't imagine why someone would want a Pontiac (except for kingcharlesj)

I don't get the appeal of American cars either. The classic muscle cars, however, are fucking sexy. B-Body Dodge Charger plz.

there's a certain sex appeal to just flat-out, raw power--I'll give you that. I wouldn't mind having some to just look at, but for actual driving purposes? I'd much rather have some small japanese or german concoction with a nice, stiff suspension and some semblance of road feel.
