yes, if not lots of babies will be raised by parents who aren't actually able to raise a baby, so the baby gets messed up anyway.. of it will be put up for adoption/dumped somewhere, cruel but true..

Yes i agree with it. There are so many cases where it is justified, and even if its not, then its the womans body she should choose what she wants.

Where's the pro-choice option?

I can't say yes, and I can't say no. I am pro-choice. I don't know if I personally would have an abortion, but I would be supportive to someone who was going to have one.

Let the woman choose her destiny. Governments should keep the hell out of these matters!

abortion is necessary for some circumstances..but it shouldnt ever be abussed .....once there are people who had mulitple abortions then i think its wrong ...you can make a mistake once or ever twice but thats it ....time to get on the pill and strap on a jimmy!

I think once is enough. If you haven't learned after the first time then there is something wrong with you.
I knew a person, who knew this girl who had 4 abortions. That is somebody who has taken advantage of the system. I don't get people like that. Also, abortion is "free". I think you should have to pay to get an abortion.. then maybe people like her would think a little harder before spreading the pages.

yah true. Maybe she wasn't covered. I know if you don't have health coverage they probably won't do it. I wouldn't know.

Do I agree with it? - well I dont think its nice, but i dont think people should go around bombing abortion clinics either. So, whilst it's upleasent I do agree with it in principal.

I dont know why this is an issue all of a sudden. Ok i know that the U.S. had a big thing about it. And Canada did too. BUT!!! abortion has been going on for hundreds of years all over tha world in many difrent forms. And using many difrent methods. And thats that. Weather a collective body of people agree on it or not will never be able to stop anyone who simply knows enough about how the female body works to put an end to an unwanted pregnacy. And thats the bottom line. Yeah sure u can make it real illegal to add a prevention measure for the careless. But that will only make people take matters into there own hands.

I personaly belive that abortion should be legal WITH restrictions on certain areas. Relativley close to how Canada has the books on it set up now.

i got no beef with people wanting to hav an abortion... what i do find rather sad tho, is that the father has no choice in the matter. I mean shouldnt he have some say in the matter if his child is about to be aborted.

First of all, I would like to say that I totally agree with Orbax, who unfortunately took most of my arguments away from me.
And, if Tiesto thinks I am a religious person, know that I am a 100% atheist and proud of that!
Anyway, I think that abortion should be allowed only if mother's life is in danger, or if the child is going to be retarded or otherwise be unable to take care of itself when it grows up.
Also I think that if abortion would be made illegal, then people would think twice about unprotected sex, and sex in general. If they're really horny there's always oral sex or some other way
And, not all children who are born unintentionally would be not taken care of. Many of the poor people who waste little money they got on alcohol and similar stuff, have many children which live in poor conditions. And those children aren't treated well.
And I also think that it shouldn't be a woman's decision, both of the parents should have their opinion heard, because they share the child.
Finally, I find argument like it's my body and I'll do with it whatever I want very selfish, because an unborn child is not a part of a woman's body.

Delicately put.

How is it not a part of her body?.. haha, of course it is! Without the mother, how is the baby suppose to grow inside of her?. It floats in a sac produced by the mother, and it's unbilical cord is attached to the mother so whatever the mother eats, it eats. So once again I ask how it's not a part of her body? Once it's born it's not physically a part of her anymore, but while it's growing inside it is.

It's a fact that an unborn child is a part of the mothers body, and I don't mean to sound sexist in any way but you being a man wouldn't understand because you don't feel it kicking or hiccuping inside of you.

It is not part of her body, but a foreign body living inside her, connected to her, and requiring her for it's life support.

Sort of like a parasite, in a way.
