You see, the Kleinenbeast is what we refer to as a "Hunter/Gatherer/Hoarder DJ" From the time he walks out of the Booth at Space during WMC he starts hunting. When he finds his prey (which is usually the sickest floor-killer of a track you've every heard in your life) he gathers it up and locks it away. He hoards these tracks in a little sander vault and leaves them there while he goes and hunts some more. He repeats this process over and over for an entire year until (yep you guessed it) his WMC terrace set. Then he opens the vault and lets it all out, and WE are the ones who benefit.

HAHAHAAHA PHIL YOU ARE THE F*CKING SHIT

and this^^^^ is why I love you.

For me, this was the sickest set from him Ive ever seen. Period.

but it was worth it so

Exactly,LP hired off duty firemarshalls to oversee the numbers of people going in the club,so that it didn't get shut down and thank God for that.I mean dont you guys trhink LP wanted the maximum amount of people inside??Of course he did.Did he want to get shut down because he had 100 people downstairs that wanted up??No!Concider the people who got in with a bribe lucky because from what i hear,he was firing the bouncers who did that.

I really liked how they did it,for once you could walk around at Space during WMC which to me was awesome!!

CLASSIC,BRUVA!!!!

Awesome! I agree 100%... I arrived on the terrace around 5am and my buddy asked me how excited I was to be back where the best WMC memories are forged, I replied, "not nearly as excited as Sander is..." He is in his element up there...doing the robot, putting purses on his head, smiling all the way to 2pm.

This past weekend was my 3rd WMC Sander/Terrace Set and it was the best yet. What sucks is that now everything else for the next year is never going to live up to the 10 hours of dirty bass lines, perfectly timed breakdowns and hanging/dancing with some of the most knowledgable EDM fans in the world... I do love being on the roof of that building when Sander is up there. There is nothing like it in the US and maybe even the world.

only reason worth going to space was sander and i mean come on after every wmc set he plays how could ya have wmc w/out him, plain and simple hes an amazin dj and always has been. guy is so cool in the booth and knows what hes doing. i loves his styles and i like how he works and smiles w/ the crowd he apprieciates his fans. im just glad i got into that terrace or i would have been pissed

I had 5am tickets, but from MANY years of past WMC expierence, knew damn well that those tickets really would not mean much @ 5am.

I got to the front door...saw the masses of people waiting and bee lined it to the one of the "door bitches" and sorted the guy out with $100 a piece for the two of us to get in. There was one stipulation though...that he walks us in and gets us up to the terrace.

We got in within a matter of moments and up to the terrace...and had a fucking blast for Sander. He ripped the place to shreds!

You have to pay to play in Miami....well worth every penny...

this was actually the 2nd year Rene opened for Sander & i was waiting a whole year to see Rene again, that guy dropped the sickest of the sick for 4hrs straight

it was nice to be up on the Terrace @ that time cuz there was probably only about 150 to 200 people up there

we (me and about 80 of our friends) had the whole terrace to ourselves dancing to Rene's wickedness

i, like you, hope that they do this pair again

Sander was wicked as well, but he always is so that's a no-brainer

but if anyone knows the song that Sander played that has the lyrics of "everbody's jumpin, somethin, somethin, somethin" & could give me the title that would be amazing

bro, while we were standing in line, i saw a guy try to grease the door with a $100 bill in his palm and the bouncer fucking laughed at him. i thought that was a little crazy.

I'm not good at IDing but I heard a cool re-mix of Depeche Mode's 'Enjoy the Silence'... If that's what you mean by tune spots.

Some other highlights:

Arno Cost & Aria - 'Magenta'
Some way cool re-work/edit of 'Around the World'
DVDJ song that went something like.. 'when your you're moving too slow and you're out of the flow, get it workin...' then repeat (new phrase/rhyme)...get it workin...' and so on.

I told you I can't ID!

Muzzaik - Work it (Rene Amesz mix)

Muzzaik - Work it (Rene Amesz mix) vs Lucky heather, pretty sure.

A remix of that old track, keep on jumpin everybody .... till you see the sunshine rise or something.

Tiga - you gonna want me (tocadisco mix)

Can someone ID the re-mix of this Depeche Mode track?

i think i had left before he played that.... I would totally remember hearing it.

Basslines sound like something out of LMR so it's probably a quick inside job by someone on the label...

I agrees. I think I remember this was around 8 or 9 and by looking at the angle of the sunlight up there it seems about right. The place went nuts when the vocal hit.

What time did you bounce?

I left like right @ 9am. The place was getting packed, and I had been there since 11:30 so I could get a ticket off of someone early.

This party was one for the ages. We were in around 1:00 and we made the mistake of hanging out downstairs. We watched PVD for awhile- I've never seen him as animated as he was, but frankly, his set sucked. We tried to get back upstairs around 4:00 and waited in a crushing line for approx. an hour before finally being let up.
Sander's set was AMAZING. The way he built his set was nothing short of spectacular. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. It started off slow and sexy and it built into a frenzy by mid-morning. Sander on the Space Terrace is something to behold and it is indeed special! I can't wait for next year!
He is such an incredible DJ and I guess I knew it after last year's performance, but this cemented him as my favorite.. I just admire and respect what he did up there.

Check out Urbantorque's upcoming tracks - they had a WMC 2007 sampler w/ a remix of Enjoy The Silence in it (Not the one Sander played), but it could be on the same release.
