Ease of amenity use with a tent is greatly reduced as compared to a winnebago.

I walked for like 15 minutes before I was far enough away from everyone to take a wizz in the bushes.

In hindsight, I should've just walked to the toilet block, rather than thinking "somewhere close by in the bushes" would be more convenient...

def not going to take the winnebago this time! someone took a mystery pooh in the toilet one afternoon when we were on the dancefloor, blinky ahem! and the place reeeeaked for hours!! the van had a no-poo policy!

im tenting it up this time hahaha!!

Some people you just cant take anywhere!

Posted by stipsy on May-16-2007 04:42:

we had a winnebago last year...

was brilliant!

Posted by Dean Millson on May-16-2007 04:45:

We had one a few years ago which was great, but the post Earthcore Cost/Benefit comparison seemed unfavourable. Don't know if i'd do it again.

Extrawelt / Brisker & Magitman / Midimiliz / Tsuyoshi Suzuki / Si Futures / Si Begg / BOG / John 00 Fleming / Nicki Setterfield / D.A.V.E the Drummer / Electric Universe / S.U.N Project / X-Noize / Tipper / Kosmas Epsilon / Nick Sentience / Sesto Sento / Luke Vibert / Xavier Morel / ESP / Lish / Visual Paradox / Space Tribe / Liquid Soul / Human Blue

bugger about d-nox and beckers pulling out. d-nox was fkn amazing at rainbow~!

Posted by Dean Millson on Sep-12-2007 23:55:

Extrawelt would be awesome - that's one of the better Earthcore lineups for a while imo. Pity i think i'm going to be away in Noosa I declined the invitation i got on Facebook last night for EC to which spiro sent me a message telling me that it was too bad and that he was thinking of booking me and it was my loss LOL. It's really great to see EC getting into all this new technology, such a fantastic way to pick your DJ's imo

Posted by marcusus on Sep-13-2007 10:28:

Yeah, saw that post of yours on ITM.

Still a bit half half. Bit of a mission getting down there and all that jazz... last year was fairly rough and tumble, although quite fun. Was fairly written off, that's for sure

Posted by charlee on Sep-13-2007 12:31:

I really want to go but jeezuz. Earthcore, Lionel Richie, Daft Punk I mean I think I may die from fun overload!

AND ULTRAWORLD!!

Posted by Philby on Sep-13-2007 13:37:

apparently human blue may not have been booked but is advertised anyway...

Posted by Dean Millson on Sep-13-2007 13:46:

Maybe they haven't accepted the Facebook event invitation?

A heads up for Human Blue fans: he wasn't and isn't booked for Earthcore - that's directly from a reliable somebody who spoke to him personally at the weekend!

FYI - Human Blue was to be booked, but the person who was supposed to confirm with Dag didn't because he wasn't offered a gig as well.

Dag is booked, he will be here for the Friday/Saturday only as he can't take any longer off work.

DAVE the Drummer was booked in Feb/March & reconfirmed a couple of weeks back, he'll be here & he's in Canada the weekend after

Given that the party is still without a venue and that several people on the EC Forum say they've not received their tickets months after buying them, do we think this year's party is a safe bet?

Liquid Soul are coming, you can check with Steinvor at Iboga Bookings. Sesto, DJ Bog/Visual Paradox etc were also confirmed months ago & contracts were signed last week

Every single ticket purchased up to 3PM Friday 14 Sep has been sent out. Up until 2 weeks ago there were no extra staff at Dance Aid and it was impossible to post out tickets on a regular basis, they were going monthly & the VIP tickets only came into the office 3 weeks ago.

Hope that puts the doubts in your mind to rest

but to think that someone "was to be booked", and "was-ing to be booked" for 6months, with no change in the lineup, is i guess how things are done....and being Earthcore, 1 lesser act, means another one gets added.

Yep, everyone (with exception of Human Blue) on the line-up was contacted, fees negotiated & confirmed before it was released, which is why they were advertised. But it doesn't matter, Human Blue is now confirmed, as is every other act listed there
