hmmmm, Megan Fox versus Ren Stevens?
I still say Transformers would've been better if they chose the better Stevens.
some of it is pretty fucking stupid (bernie mac, the black computer hacker, the "urban" transformer. some of it is pretty fucking awesome.
they really need to cut a different soundtrack.
also, some interesting trailers. 2 movies where New York is attacked. One is with Will Smith, and he's apparently "THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (after what seems a foreign attack?).
Then there was a movie that wasn't given a title, it just said "from J.J. Abrams." It looks like Blair Witch documentary style, except with a Monster attacking New York. This guy is video taping a party, suddenly there is a loud boom, the camera man goes outside and there is a huge fireball in the middle of New York. people start running and, what else, The Statue of Libterty's head crashes on top of them.

| a giant monster movie (refferred internally as The Parasite) which is shot using home video cameras from the point of view of real people who are experiencing the attack on New York City |

saw this movie in a special screening in Toronto. I wet myself. So good.
Just saw it. I'de get it a 3 out of 5.
I was disappointed.
Wtf, the transformers cartoon movie was better.More epic.
the plot for this movie kinda sucked.
It was too corny and i hate it when the majority of the retards in an already crowded cinema laugh at the slightest unfunny jokes. I couldnt tell the difference between the decepticons.. and the facial expressions of the robots were too complicated..
I dont know, i guess i liked optimus prime when he was just had a monotonous look to him.
And where was that van halen TRANSFORMERS THEME SONG??? I EXPECTED THAT IN THE ENDING?? Right after optimus gave that cheesy speech about life on earth.. i was hoping like.. "TRANSFORMEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRS!"

not bad....i really enjoyed it for what it is. YES there was alot of cheesy dialogue but i think cg, and action sequences made up for it. i totally loved the car chase with bumblebee and barricade at the beginning that was sick. I think it woulda been alot better if the transformers spoke less. like at witwickys house it got so fuckin slapstick i was like omg...just shuttup now and stand there and look badass.
I saw the movie on Monday at 10pm, It was awesome. It was great to hear the original voice of Optimus Prime once again.

i thought the few bits of commedy were good. i actually rofled in some parts, and i usually only laugh at deranged internet humour...
however, all the robots looked shit. they should have looked like they do in the cartoons. I mean... bumblebee... a sports car? wtf? fail.
This movie was so good. I went in with high expectations and they were surpassed. Definitely gonna see this again, movie of the year for me.
6/5.
Great actionn scenes and special effects. As for the rest of the filmn, it was complete shit. That Megan chick can't act to save her life, and some of the jokes were funny, but most went no where and were just awkward.
Fun to watch while baked, but that was about it. I don't think I'll ever care to see it again.
