From a more objective point of view, I feel that nou is truly trying to behave himself. When he occasionally acts in the wrong manner (like we all do) it's 'usually' due to other people attacking him or misunderstandings. A temp ban should be given to anyone who acts in the manner that deserves a ban. However, banning nou's alts before he gets a chance to 'prove' himself is ridiculous (especially if he can get around them so easily). I think people are viewing nou from his past actions, rather than the present situations.

If we all had guns, then we could protect ourselves from nou invasions!

Death and funeral
Ultimately her death was ruled an accidental drug overdose of the sedative chloral hydrate that became increasingly lethal when combined with other prescription drugs in her system, specifically 4 benzodiazepines; Klonopin (Clonazepam), Ativan (Lorazepam), Serax (Oxazepam), and Valium (Diazepam). Furthermore, she had taken Benadryl (Diphenhydramine) and Topamax (Toprimate), an anticonvulsant GABA agonist, which likely contributed to the sedative effect of chloral hydrate and the benzodiazepines.[84] Although the individual levels of any of the benzodiazepines in her system would not have been sufficient to cause death, their combination with a high dose of chloral hydrate led to her death. The autopsy report indicates that chloral hydrate was the "toxic/lethal" drug, but it is difficult to know if chloral hydrate ingestion would have killed her alone, since Dr. Perper indicated (in the March 26 press conference) that she had built up a tolerance to the drug and took more than the average person. He indicated that she took about 3 tablespoons, whereas the normal dosage is between 1 and 2 teaspoons. Despite rumors of methadone use due to its involvement in her son's death, Dr. Perper only found methadone in her bile, indicating that it could only have been ingested 2-3 days prior to her death and was not a contributing factor.[85] The autopsy report indicates that abscesses of buttocks (presumably from prior injections of vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) and human growth hormone), and viral enteritis were contributory causes of death. Tests for influenza A and B were negative.[86]

On March 31, 2007, TMZ.com reported that FOX News anchor Greta Van Sustren acquired paperwork from Dr. Joshua Perper's office that indicated 8 of the 11 drugs in Anna Nicole Smith's system, including the chloral hydrate, were prescribed to Howard K. Stern, not Anna Nicole. Additionally, two of the medicines were written for Alex Katz and one was written for Anna Nicole's friend and psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevitz. Dr. Perper acknowledged that all 11 prescriptions were written by Dr. Eroshevitz herself.[87]

was it suicide? was it an accidental overdose? Is she a hero?

No, most people do not need to be told 25+ times "Go away, don't post here"
Most people, the vast majority of the 70,000+ people registered here and however many 1000's of them who still post, read the rules, tick 'yeah I read it' and continue to post without ever having any trouble from this sites administration over what they post.
I've been doing it longer than pretty much all the TA moderators who've been here and most of the time I'm a complete opinionated bitch who's had no warnings, no slap on the wrist and no bans or suspensions.

Its really not that hard to be a member of this community and it's a pretty damn liberal place which puts up with an awful lot of tolerance, the mods barely bother anyone really!
Twenty Five Plus times he has been banned
What part of NO is too bloody hard to understand unless you are some kind of super dense retarded product of inbreeding or so socially disfunctional that cannot grasp the concept of NO?

Could that also be viewed as commitment towards the community??? Even though a select few don't want him, he still shows his commitment in a positive way (for the most part). According to whose reality/perspective his he not welcomed? For many respectable members nou does not significantly affect them, only a select few have 'issues' with him.

It appears to be easier for you since you do not have a the negative connotations from past experiences like nou. If people look at his history then they maybe more inclined to suspend him, rather than look at the current situation objectively. (I'm not saying this is true, just proposing the possibility).

They don't bother you, but they do bother nou (to a certain extent).

I'm just trying to shed some light on possible alternative perspectives.

Bas I like you, but you are wrong.

lol. i would love to see you in a dramatic movie.

i don't really know what's going on in here (haven't read the whole trhead yet) but it seems like someone is an alt factory and is sisgruntled that they were banned. i'm going to read it and i'm just going to predict this thread will be locked eventually, rofl.

i read it...i thought it was a thoughtful post.

meh, it's just nou. obviously the blanket-ban worked for the time being though. too much h8 up in here.

What ever happened to the thought of 'If you don't like it, ignore it. It will go away over time.' I agree with Bas and many others (much to the dismay of Rob). A blanket bad seemed like a bad idea. Why punish many for the acts of one? In all honesty how many people are pissed off at nou? Out of the regular COR members (who make up what I assume is a small fraction of the TA body) my guess is that only a handful dislike him. [IE if 3% of the COR dislikes him, that would constitute an even smaller percentage of TA as a whole] Nou isn't like he used to be. I fully agree with the long idoru post. I guess I don't have much more to add than that for now.

Jake, your diatribe was a solid laugh this morning - great 4/20 reading

Let me give you a piece of advice, you may need to reevaluate your criteria for "close friends."

For the record I didn't even know about the IP ban until Nou's thread.

And I don't think either of us (or any other "clique" members) have seriously advocated an IP ban for him.

Also, can I please have a full clique roster? I lost my copy, and I need to know who to be nice to...
