Originally posted by InDeepSpace This retrobyte Mixes are really awful imo; jus took some time to check the mixes of the Baroque release and I must say these mixes are really better and not as bad as the mixes on the Armind release. Still not my cup, but listenable which I cant say about those retrobyte mixes which are really 4 the trashcan.

Originally posted by retrobyte yeah, they really suck. I don't know who the hell that guy thinks he is, making music and whatnot. a talentless wench is what he is.

Really, if you're that dense that you can't separate a fact from someone's opinion, stop posting on TA - or anywhere for that matter. |

Originally posted by retrobyte of course everyone has their own opinion - music is subjective, and I'm totally cool with someone not liking my music. I just think it's funny that one would state the following: as a matter of fact and not a matter of opinion.

Originally posted by Clovis Yeah, I didn't notice you quoted that dude, but still, thats gonna happen. I used to talk shit for the sake of it all the time on this board, then I realised it was pretty pointless...hopefully other people come to the same conclusions...

Originally posted by retrobyte yeah, it's going to be really hard to do something even worse than the "worst release on Armind to date" - I might as well just give up now and thanks!haha, I try not to take anything said on TA too seriously. it's just entertaining to read a display of such hatred for certain tracks, that's all

Originally posted by RebeL9 I find it more entertaining to read the upset replies of the producer after some sharp criticism have been carried out at their tunes.
The Armind Mixes are sounding so awful to my ears
and are showing the fall of the Armind label good. Im really fed up with those poppy vocal tunes in the trance scene.

I love this tune and I'm gonna buy it and support Shawn & Retrobyte. It's really beauty tune with summer feeling but not pop. Great tune for summer. My personal favorite tune 2k7 so far.
About ASOT#2007 IMO looks better than ASOT#2006 but I dont know how it sounds. CD1 looks really promising. CD2 is more overplayed, but include the best tunes from 2007 so far, oh maybe not the best but solid tracks from year which is full of stupid classic remakes etc.
Sorry for my english and please don't blame me. It's just my opinion. So once again, great job Shawn, great job Retrobyte, and propably great job Armin.

can i hold out hope that this is a fake tracklist?
edit: nevermind, i'll give it a listen. 'What You Need' and 'The Anthem' make me want to vomit, but theres some nice songs on there too of the ones I've heard. Wouldn't Change a Thing, Firefly I like.
It's hardly Trance, though. ASOT should just be its own genre, seperate from trance.

Disc 2 is a pretty accurate expectation of what Armin plays in the Club, so I think the title of "In The Club" is deserving there.
In fact... I think about 90% of those tracks are in his current club rotation right now.
I really enjoyed the 2006 compilation, lets see how this one goes. I think last year's "On The Beach" looks a bit tastier, but I have yet to hear most of the songs on the CD so I'll reserve judgement foir now.
at the cover for sure though.
Dont see how anyone can complain about the Tracklisting of this Compilation CD. If you heard these tunes out in a club, you would not be thinking so negative I tell you.
Cover is very cheesy, dont like it.
When people go to look for this in the Shops, they should be looking for 'ASOT 2007' in big bold letters on the cover. Not armins cheesy face. It reminds me over a David Bowie Album cover.
Overall a great compilation CD by Armin which represents the current ASOT top tunes. 10/10
