I'm a US citizen born abroad and they keep sending recruitment mail the second I graduated.

...I don't know for sure but I'm guessing they at least want you to have citizenship.... green cards probably won't cut it for 99% of US gov't jobs.

If there's enough micro in the degree then it's sort of applicable to business. Not all finance is accounting, and it's hard to find good people in finance - especially with a technical background.

You're doing comp sci though, that's different from elec eng. I won't say that it's a better degree, but there are better job opportunities right now.
