are we talking (Electronic) Music festivals? I recall him only mentioning Music Festival.. in which case WEMF definitely isn't the largest one in Canada or Ontario for that matter. Not to mention that WEMF did dabble with a bit of cross genre formula at last year's event.

And don't take this as a knock on WEMF as i hav nothing against it either. But saying that it's the largest i can't really agree with. didn't they cap attendance in '05 @ 6000 ppl? Did it attract over 10,000 ppl last year? i hav no idea.. didn't Virgin Festival attract over 10,000 last year? Bal en Blanc claims to attract over 15,000 attendees. I think Mutek does as well.. etc.

Last year WEMF attendance was just over 6000. So no, it's not the largest music festival in Canada. Hell, I bet some Guv events draw in a bigger crowd.

Fair enough, I guess WEMF *was* the biggest Canadian music festival at one point, but not now.

WEMF is WEMF.



Now I'm going to the picture/camera store to see about getting my WEMF 07 flyer plaqued!

(next I should do all my other ones, depending on what it costs, time to get these hung on my walls properly! ... hopefully its not much more than $30)
