What that gif doesn't show is him immediately getting up

but it does show him getting flattened out properly.


the ref made the right call.

this kinda stuff turns me off, reminds me of dog fighting.

I think the event was awesome all in all (happy that Karo one, really hope he gets a title shot at Serra in a near future) and it was awesome that somebody knocked Chuck the fuck out. Finally.

i will never in this lifetime understand how 2 men beating each other until one gets knocked out is a sport or any sort of entertainment

It's brutal and barbaric, and takes a lot of skill. I dunno.

i understand fighting takes skill, but i just dont see it as being a sport or something pleasurable to watch.


my friend kept bugging me to watch this fight, but i didn't. he is related to whomever won though, i forget his name. but yea, we got into this whole discussion about it the other night and he kept defending it lol

you forget they can also break the others arm or leg and they can choke them unconscious.



its a sport that involves skill and luck, lately the luck aspect has been shown to be bigger than the skill, but its still like any skillful sport...fun to watch when you know whats goin on.

just because something requires skill, doesn't make it a legit sport if you ask me.

beating someone up is not a sport, and nothing will make me change my mind.

Actually, I think the ref did stop the fight early. Look how long it took for the ref to jump in when Lidell beat Ortiz. Lidell was the champ and Big John is supposed to give more respect to him. I think a memo went out to all refs to jump in early so the fighters would not get hurt.
