TV star Jeong Da-Bin and pop singer Yuni reportedly suffered cyber bullying before they committed suicide earlier this year. South Korea's top portal operators such as Daum and Naver, along with 33 others, are subject to the new regulation. South Korea is one of the world's most wired countries, with nearly a third of its 48 million population having access to high-speed Internet.
