How to make a Purple Thread (TM):
1) Make a ridiculous claim backed up with absolutely nothing
2) Flee
3) Watch thread erupt and chuckle in your basement
4) Hide for a week
5) Start over

Just saw him in Bratislava, Slovakia. Fucking badass. Can easily compete with Hawtin nowadays.
I'm going to save this thread for work tomorrow when I need to lol at Purple and just say 'no' for now. Sasha isn't over rated and you're a fucking bellend
Ok well that was disappointing
I think he was just baiting us to see how many pages of "no he isn't" it would generate

I see the point here.. a lot of sound clippings he used in set would do sound great in a good music system the club uses.. like that siren he played in between was rocking. To enjoy Sasha set you have to be drunk, not that sloshed puking drunk but slightly groovy drunk. What is surprising and very noticeable is how his livesets are soooo much different from his albums. |
threads like this are only used for tr0lling purposes.
Is Sasha over-rated?

Move on now.

First off, I read page one and was appalled at what I saw.
Sasha is the best DJ ever.
If you don't like either Sasha or Digweed, or in some way acknowledge how much they've kicked this genre of music in the ass (aka, a kick in the right direction) you know ABSOLUTELY nothing about this kind of music, and should subsequently take up a career in playing chess in a public park with homeless people and yelling at pigeons.
Also, don't give me that crap about "Oh well music is subjective, that's just you're opinion, Armin is good" nonsense crap, cause it's just that, shit. Wait did I say crap or shit the first time? Who cares, fuck you!
Also, Sasha destroys the place every time he shows up anywhere. I've seen him 3 times now, and 3 times in a row he's delivered teh mega-beatz that make all you Armin lovers hide under the covers and suck your thumbs.
Sasha is so badass, that his calendar goes from March 31st to April 2nd, NOBODY FOOLS SASHA!
I was sitting there reading this thread and scratching my balls and then I downloaded that godskitchen set and I suddenly felt like dancing my ass off to it.
The proof is there! From scratching my balls to dancing, the DJ did his job and, as such, Sasha isn't overrated
