Neat! I just found out that in the summer, the pizza place near me gets all it's veggies from local organic growers growers - I just had a slice of their veggie pie and it was heaven.

Don't worry, I'm bringing a suprise with me this weekend

I didn't know if it would be worth it until today, but now I think it is.

i don't either, but there's a time and a place for everything.

there's a time for us to let go.
there's a time for holding on.
a time to speak, a time to listen.
there's a time for us to GRROOOOOOOOoooooooowwwww

but seriously man.. you've been full of disapppointing-ness today.

so you spat on it

tomorrow will suck, I'm low on foodage, but thursday I have some organic lamb fillets to cook up. thinking of making a thyme, rosemary & mint marinade, then will serve it with whatever green veg I can find. I know I Have some brocolli, will probably buy some cabbage, leeks and possibly some mushrooms to serve with it.

To be fair, I think organic food (or any food for that matter) is cheaper for you guys in the midwest than it is for us in bigger cities. They probably price it higher with the knowledge that the higher volume of customers will yield bigger profits

That said, Bunny and I used to shop at Trader Joe's all the time. Now that I'm not working as much we've stuck to buying what organic foods we can from the regular market. I couldn't care less as to how the animals are treated, food is food, I'm doing it for health and taste benefits.

Next week I'm going back to full time, can't wait to hit Trader Joe's again

Well, everything is pricier in the bigger cities - no matter what region of the country you live in.

I still think if you really wanted to do it and put sincere effort in, it wouldn't be nearly as difficult as many seem to think.

Like I said, you just have to change the way you shop, and that doesn't just mean driving to a different store
