Il be there cracked out but il be there...
I get off of work sat night at 1130pm, i head out right after work. Party all day sunday comeback sunday night/monday morning to be at work on monday

Dubfire is playing at Drai's sunday nite from 2-8am. wouldn't surpise me to see Sharam and Cedric to show up as well and spin.

you guys need to remember that at Drai's on a holiday weekend, you're looking at $40-50 cover for their resident djs....not to mention just getting past the ropes is a bitch there w/o using a host or tipping one of the door guys. $75 for guaranteed entry actually isn't bad at all.

Dubfire for $75 is absolutely ridiculous. Not even Space charges that for WMC with a much bet

Tiesto is 75 that night. Heck Tiesto plus others is 75.00 for New Years in LA.
So, its gotta be a bigger party than announced. My guess is since Giant just booked Tiesto for New Years, and they are throwing this party....
who knows, sharam/gervais show up... and maybe another since he's there the next night?
(regarding Rehab) I paid for the 50.00 4pm ticket. Gervais's my space says he goes on at 2pm. Wonder if Sharam will be there before (4 pm) & after (4pm) or what?
I was hoping the tourists hit up tiesto on sunday, and leave monday open... probably going to be packed both nights anyway.

I won't compare it to a black jack table...
I'll compare it to the other events he's competing with. Dubfire is really good, but 75.00 is very unreasonable.
Tiesto is probably the only artist that can get away with those prices. Solo.
How much are the Sean Paul tix (supermainstream) at Hard Rock?
Giant is saying its a "special event" and one "not to miss". I've seen dubfire all the time, what's not to miss? There's something else going on here...
I mean, unless Giant had to pay an enormous bill to fly Dubfire in from Central America on short notice, or Drai's want some major piece of the action...
It's not WMC, its not even Ibiza, its not New Years...
Drias cover charge is $50 cover for non-locals holiday weekends anyway. An extra $25 surcharge for a top DJ is not that bad.

Giant is not running a list for Morillo this time.
i just found out about another afterhours on sunday nite for you guys to possibly consider - just waiting for the okay to spill the beans on that one - its not public knowledge yet and i want to make sure its not invite-only.
and Leftymo - remember the covers are that expensive because they can get away with it. all of the parties mentioned in this thread will be slammed. so why not charge what the market will bear.
