Downloading now. Well, judging on the comments of other TA's I believe that this mix is fantastic. Haven't listen this kind of music for a while, but definitely will give it a chance, since there are so many good tracks included. And also, I appreciate effort put in making of this kind of mix.
Review after I listen it

got to agree with (almost) everyone in this thread... this mix is superb... for me the tunes flowed so sweetly that there was no need to introduce any more "epic" tracks. Besides these tunes have so much subtle power. Took me back to the early days of trance, yet had a slightly modern feel to it. imho you also managed to achieve a really nice sound to the music, I don't know the technical term, but as you say "warm" (yr comment on page 3 of this post), not dry and clinical as some mixes seem to be.

just really enjoyed it, thanks for sharing!

About time! We want a Mad Gorilla mix

edit: what did you use to make this mix btw?

Getting in late on this one, but glad I finally am - what a great mix! I've had a bad taste in my mouth about trance for a while thanks to the stale, cheesy stuff AvB and others have been putting out...but damn, this set rocks!

Listening to this I get the same feeling as when listening to earlier stuff from the 90s, timeless, like you said. It's got a very personal and warm touch to it - it doesn't just feel like a technical mix of one track to the next. There is some great programming/sequencing at work here.

I love the mix of old and new, too; I had a hard time picking out the older tracks. You definitely know what you're doing. I can't wait to hear the next one you put out. This is definitely one of the best mixes I've downloaded from TA.

Thanks for sharing.

Really enjoy this mix. I don't have very detailed feedback, enjoyed nearly all of the tunes. Excited for the next one

Posted by Quethas on Jan-31-2009 10:28:

When this is bumped back I guess I can give my feedback. I listened this couple months ago. Finally if I can say. This was really good mix.

01. Bus - Disco Suns
02. Man With No Name - Reincarnation (Tripster remix)
07. De Niro - Elan Vital
10. The Digital Blonde - Moonflux
11. Anne Clark - Our Darkness (Total Eclipse remix)
12. Deepsky - Cosmic Dancer

Those are really awesome tracks. Waiting for part 2

Posted by RebeL9 on Feb-01-2009 14:48:

thanks guys. i am planning the second one. actually i was close to finnish it a while ago but then I got lazy so I stopped. Maybe I can make a new effort soon.

Posted by Unique2701 on Feb-02-2009 21:51:

Now that we're at it, I realize I haven't give the proper feedback it deserves either. This is honestly the mix that I've listened to the most from all the TA mixes I've got here. Usually when you've heard a mix a couple of times, you start to skip to the tracks you like, but I don't have it at all with this mix, I like every track in this mix. Of course there's a best part, for me that is:

08. Friends, Lovers & Family - Highly Strung
09. Earthbound - We Are Not Alone
10. The Digital Blonde - Moonflux
11. Anne Clark - Our Darkness (Total Eclipse remix)
12. Deepsky - Cosmic Dancer

When I heard Total Eclipse remix of Our Darkness, that's kind of the climax of the mix and I can get really nuts on it, I thought, what will come after this one? And then I heard Cosmic Dancer, and works so well there.

I hope you know you set the stake pretty high for round 2 now

Easily in my top 3 best TA sets. Its a journey man. All the tracks sound as fresh now as they did when i first heard it. Looking forward to the next one!

Posted by pwnage1 on Mar-17-2009 02:30:

This one needs a bump, been listening to it a lot lately.

Posted by RebeL9 on Mar-17-2009 15:31:

you still listen to this crap?

Posted by Domesticated on Apr-14-2009 07:38:

Bump. I downloaded and enjoyed this ages ago, but I burnt it to a CD for the car a fortnight ago and I've since listened to it three times.

That Vibrasphere track just blows me every time; I'd never heard it prior.

Do another one Hamid.

Posted by bamski on Apr-28-2009 13:51:

Bumpump for an awesome set.

Re-re-re-re-re-listening

Posted by SYSTEM-J on Apr-28-2009 16:07:

Oh yeah. I downloaded this one a couple of months ago. Great set.
