'05 - LA (Palladium)
'06 - Vegas
'07 - NY or Canada (or Both)
'08 - LA

'05 was NYE at the Palladium and New Years Day he played at Ice in Vegas
'06 was Vegas and no event on New Years day since he was flying to South America
'07 was actually BOSTON from about 9ish to 10 or 11 and if I remember correctly then he flew to Montreal immediately after the Boston set and played a little after midnight
'08 will be LA

After fucking seeing everybody rocking the hell out. Even everybody on the bleachers were fucking standing up rocking. It was nothing like all the past sports arena raves where even when armin van buuren and paul van dyk spins ppl r sitting down chillin. Last night the atmosphere was literally historic. And the thing is giant can what...hold up a maximum of 15k capacity? TAO can hold up to 30k and its in the sports arena. I just want to see Tiesto play at the sports arena 1 more time this year. And I'm pretty sure the 20 other thousand people who were there last night agree with me.

Are you on meds or what? That was a drastic change...

Haven't been to Giant Maximus before, does anyone know if there will be some bleacher to sit on? I'm trying to convince my gf to go but she's lazy when she's drunk.

Seriously, now there's an idea I can seriously agree with you on. We could use a chill area so we don't have to sit on the freaking ground.

If we can get that going, that would be sweet.

And take those fans that were on the sides of the stage to Club Vegas!

Hahahahah, ditto that for me too!

Who was at the Hollywood Palladium in 2005? I was not feeling his set that night. Juliette (Lewis) & The Licks performed (if that's what you want to call it) in the middle of his set and it ruined what little vibe there was in that room... at least that was my memory of the night.

there weren't bleachers last year but they have like couch sort of things, you can lay on them too if no one else is on them, but they are like square cushions with no backs to them.

Oversized ottomans would easily describe the seating from last year.

He was much worse this time. Mixing was zero, transitions were shipwreck. Put your Ipod into shuffle, I guarantee, you will get a better mix.

Visuals were horrible too. Even $20 rock shows have better visuals.

I wonder how much profit they made.

Everyone involved made a some serious cash, I'm sure. Although, I don't think the tickets were priced nearly as high as TIC LA 2005 or TIC LV NYE.

Thanks for the honest assesment of the set. So many people who are fans of Tiesto have blinders on and don't often hold him to a higher standard.

I had a great time at Giant Maximus last year, so, if Sasha only gets 2-3 hours at the Sports Arena for TAO, that will probably be the call again this NYE.
