I can judge people anyway I want. I don't believe it is asking too much to know how to correctly write in your native language.

It kinda is.

Just because English is your native language (or just because you speak a language, whatever language that is), it doesn't mean you should be able to write it properly. Men developed language hundred of thousands of years ago, whereas writing didn't exist until the Bronze Age.

Writing is not a natural process, whereas talking is. So, even if you speak a language fluently, you might have had some trouble at school (either you had bad teachers or you just didn't get the gist of how writing works). There's nothing wrong about it, although you need to improve your writing skills if you want to succeed in modern society.

I don't expect everyone to be able to use English properly, but those who aren't capable of such should not expect others to ignore that deficiency. I'm not advocating grammar-based hate crimes, but if I talk to someone who frequently says "me and him" or doesn't know when to use different pronunciations of "the," I make assumptions about the person's academic background and/or level of intelligence.

You're right, it's not, but you don't know what most of our native languages are.

I still think judging someone by how they type is redonkulous.
