Everywhere you talk from new york to LA to las vegas, the scene is ready to explode and i am going to try and push it as far as i can. We just had 15 000+ people in the LA for my concert at the sports arena which has never been done before."

Trance is no longer a party scene music....its evolved into a concert with a whole mess of other crap going on in order for people to enjoy it....trance is all about showmanship now and not the music itself. I like trance but as chillin music not party music.

oh and as for the DJs I'd like to see in Montreal

Tiesto and Armin....that way they won't be in toronto

these are all DJs/producers who haven't been to Montreal yet and some of them do not only play Trance in their sets... so it could please more people than just Krinker

By the way, for those who think i hate trance, i don't, i just think it hasn't evolved and, because of that, i'd rather listen to what created trance in the beginning 'cause at least THAT was original. And btw, as I've said more than once on this board, give yourself 2-3 years you'll either a) stop listening to Edm alltogether and get bored of it like most people b) Start listening to other genre and understand how silly u were before thinking that there is ONLY trance music. C) Continue to listen to trance but try and discover other stuff anyways ( much like what alec used to be around 2-3 years ago :P ) p.s. Alec thanks for the good word I know i haven't been around much and that u missed me, but you're still a fag ( not as much as Marcus tho :P)

Second of all, you totally went off topic on my quote, I never said that trance is the only music genre there is, I said it is better to embrace all genres in order to gain a better understanding of EDM.

Also, Trance IS NOT JUST FORMED OF TIESTO ARMIN OR FERRY, stop spewing the handful of mainstream names you know off the bat and calling that the Trance Genre.
Although I do believe that those mainstream names did help skyrocket the genre's popularity among the non-EDM lovers as well.

Anyways KrinKer, you can go back to playing world of warcraft and eating your cheese puffs, because arguing with you is like trying to nail jello to a wall.

I just dont get this, like Kinker said, many people started listening to trance, even our beloved artists like Sasha & Digweed were progressive trance in the old days

so if someone likes trance first, let them be, in 2-3 years they'll like the Steve Lawlers, etc.. and embrace people who can actually mix, but give them a chance....

I understand when people bash tiesto cause he really cant mix, or isnt great at it, but these mainstreamers bring people who listen to 50 cent and Britney Spears, into the EDM scene (most of us on this board were listen to EDM all our lives, when i was 11: Dance Maching 3rd Gear hahahh - flying to the moon! )

Anyways almost everybody loves tiesto and/or trance at the beginning like i did, and many of you did (don't be hard asses and admit it) but if these guys didnt open up the door the scene esp the tech-house scene and trippy shit that sick would be small...

Imagine bringing a friend who doesnt even know one EDM song, and bringing him/her to see Fake, or Holden, or some artist like that, they would think we are all on crack....

EDM is happy hardcore, IDM, Rap (the first EDM), electro (the real electro, such as Afrikaa Bambaata and Kraftwerk and Anthony Rother), it is house, it is UK garage, it is trance, it is speedcore

I'm happy with Trance being the way it is, some people like a sense of continuity. "Don't fix it if it ain't broken".. if I wanna listen to something else that is ifluenced by other things I'll go listen to House or minimal or wtv..

And just for the record, it was never Trance that got me into the scene. If fact, the very first EDM artist I discovered was John Digweed <3333, then Danny Howells, then Sasha etc...I listened to Prog House for a loooong time before even allowing myself to dicover other EDM styles. Then I gave Techno and Trance a chance, and it was love...

I do believe I will always enjoy Trance/House/Techno about the same amount. And I'm happy with that.

maybe its because the zabiela/fanciulli/svd arent that good... or dont make the crossover into the mainstream like others have and will.
