You do realize that Canada and DC aren't all that far apart

But in this case it is kinda nuts cause he's going from Calgary to DC back to fucking Edmonton, LOL.

Go Prydz, you monster.

Guess he's getting over his fear (or being drugged like no other).

he's definitely not flying.

i think his dates have been rearranged to avoid some of the backtracking that would have happened, but i know they still had a ~10 hour drive today. his bus is giant tho. theres a studio in the back, so expect some new material on some of the upcoming dates.

i really hope his tour does well though, he will lead the way for alot of new talent to enter the market.

Pheonix to SF is about an 11-12 hour drive. Plenty of time. Leave Pheonix by 5am or 6am and considering his set in SF is prob scheuled to started at 12am-1am the next time, plenty of time!

Prydz raped Vancouver last Saturday.

He was wearing a black beanie if you're wondering.

same thing he wore here

anyways he has a terrible stage presence from what i've seen and read in other reviews

I still laugh at how people find problems with that.

One of the biggest problems with EDM today...what kind of mindset is that?? "I want to see Prydz do a Jesus pose tonight!!"... tards. I just learned something new about Prydz today and I'm really glad that a huge producer like that is that humble.

You've been watching too much american idol.

ya actually now that i think about it..it does kick ass seeing a dj who seems like he's bored at what he's doing

I think the point trying to be made here is that he, Eric Prydz, was starring at the mixer and cdjs most of the night rather than trying to see if the crowd was actually enjoying his performance. I had no problem in him standing there like a lummix because I personally love all the tunes he drops. For the club goer that really doesn't know what type of guy Eric Prydz is then he would probably come off as a deadbeat bedroom DJ who stares at his decks without having a crowd to play for. Beatmatching and track selection is in my opinion most important for a DJ. Crowd interaction is definately something Eric should look into.

On a side note.. I chatted with him. Seemed like a pretty good guy. I personally enjoyed his set as I don't give a rip about who he looks at but care more for the tracks he drops and how tight he is..

I am waiting to hear how he did out in vegas and CA.

Posted by DiegoParra32 on Oct-29-2007 17:44:

i think a lot of people forget he is a producer before he is a dj. unless he is claiming some sort of dj elitism that I do not know of.

Very true, but still a brilliant DJ both technically and in track selection. If you've ever heard a set of his it's like he's not human...the only problem with his mixing is that it's so good it sounds 'mechanical' at times. A little bit like Sasha's Ableton sets, but with decks.
