US grade system:

6th grade ~ 12 yrs old - IGK School
7th grade ~ 13 yrs old - Middle School
8th grade ~ 14 yrs old - Middle School
9th grade ~ 15 yrs old - Freshman
10th grade ~ 16 yrs old - Sophomore
11th grade ~ 17 yrs old - Junior
12th grade ~ 18 yrs old - Senior

21st grade ~ Boomer's school

although ive seen a lotta places combine 6th and 7th, and 8th and 9th and make those kinda middle schools.

also in order to go to wicked parties, get a fake id and be able to get booze. And also throw a few of your own and invite everyone...everyone. then they will in turn invite you, if yours was cool.
