How was the jungle/DnB?
Hahaha, what a night.
I got to the club at around 11:30. I was not expecting it to be around 4 degrees outside, nor was I dressed for it. By the time I got to the line up, which was not very long to be honest (only to the hotdog cart from the entrance), I was freezing and shaking like crazy. I noticed people were staring at me, probably because my dress was peeking out of my light jacket, and did think for a second ... errr maybe this was not such a good idea ;\ Then struck a conversation with a bouncer, the dude was cool, saw we were seriously freezing and let me and a couple in front of me do a line bypass.
Once in, was a bit disappointed that DNB was in the main room (and it was PACKED, DNB crowd partied hard). Checked out the happy hardcore room, some people there, not overly jammed though, doing their thing. Then headed to the trance/techno room. Pretty packed but still good amount of space to dance. The music there was excellent, and hard. I did not sit down for a second. Quite surprisingly the crowd went insane anytime the track's vocals mentioned any substances, and quite surprisingly as well there were a lot of such tracks.
Somewhere at around 1am, I spotted the Panda Head, run up to the guy tell him "Hey, �Zm�zis from TA right? This is Beings.. from TA too". I Don't think he quite heard me the first time, because the look on his face was "um alright, what the hell does this tranny want from me", or was it the look on the panda head... lol. Things got slightly out of hand when people started running on stage and grooving out there. I managed to stick the PandaHead on myself and run on the stage.. alone. Not sure what PandaAlice did on the stage, but it could not have looked good. I pray I did not do the robot or something. Forgive me if you had to witness this. Crazy drunk people.
I think at around 3am, trance switched over to main room, and DNB went to the trance room. Me and �Zm�zis tried to find some other TAs, but you guys were no where in sight. Everyone was probably at the Guv. The room which leads to the patio played some very very decent dirty house. I spent quite a lot of time there, occasionally hopping between the trance room the and house room.
Overall I had an amazing night. The music was good, not once did I feel like the track was not my thing, and had to sit down or go elsewhere. Crowd was great, even though it was allage, the majority must have been 19+. Huge props to the crowd too, everyone had a costume. As such the mood was very festive, a lot of energy in the club. Looking at all these people you could not help but want to party.
I think about 20 people grabbed my ass or my tits. Mostly women too. One older guy started coming on to me, said he is into big girls, and I reminded him of his ex. He said some other things too, thankfully I did not hear most of them, as I was walking away, and walking away quickly.
�Zm�zis' PandaHead was a hit, every 3 minutes someone would run up to him asking to take pictures. He probably found it annoying down the road, but it was still hilarious. Plus watching him dance in it was groovy as hell.
Night ended at 6am, club remained filled right till closing too, which was nice. I am glad I chose this over Sasha. I love Sasha, and the Guvt, but this night had such a great, friendly, and positive atmosphere, that I could not have wished for anything more. Don't think I heard a single mainstreamish house/trance track the entire night. The music was original, and it was good. Props to all the DJs. They played well, they played hard.
