I think this is at a tie with Coma for me.

That one sounds like it could be a bit of fun as well.

Looks like it's a track he made for "New Emissions of Light and Sound". Surfing movie of some kind? Sounds like it has bits of Arkham Asylum in it

A lot of his newer tracks appear to be for that movie. Coma was for that same movie (note the video for Coma on his myspace).

I totally don't picture a guy surfing when I listen to Coma

Red face

Just heard it tonight. Melancholic, beautiful. I think all this emFire stuff is great, although some of it feels on the borderline of being slightly pretentious, I still can't get away from it's sound.

I really got a shock when I heard the tweaked synths on Mongoose, this one settles a lot easier on my head, and has a completely different attack. It definitely has staying power in my opinion! Loving it...

Had to register just to get that rant out of the way...

Resident Advisor makes more damage than what I thought.

great track. love that relentless melody

Definitely my favorite Emfire release so far. Anyone have any idea what else is coming up?

Posted by jupiterone on Dec-31-2007 20:56:

I love this! Think it might be my favorite from EmFire so far.

Does anyone have/has anyone heard the final copy of the track on its own?

The haxed version I have is just beats. Lacks that ambient beginning I thought it would have?

Posted by RJT on Dec-31-2007 21:27:

Raspberries.

I have never seen so many listings for an EDM track

That being said, this is the tune I'm holding out most hope for thus far on Emfire, so we'll see what happens.

On first listen to it in its entirety, I'm still really enjoying it. Maybe a tad too long, but overall pretty nice little hypnotic, rolling number here.

Bought the track, very happy with it. The only thing I wonder about is what happened to that intro that we heard earlier on in the thread (and is in the EmFire sampler)? Is this going to be another track?

I killed Sparky!

Posted by ThomasNeil on Jan-04-2008 16:27:

Having finally brought the full version I can't stop playing it, immense!

Posted by The_G0dfather on Jan-04-2008 21:25:

it's good

Posted by bas on Jan-08-2008 23:10:

Out on Beatport if anyone's interested. Sounds a bit different than I remember

A little like A Break In The Clouds.

Care to explain yourself?

Posted by Hanki on Jan-11-2008 14:57:

This track is freakin' amazing! What an outstanding piece of sounds, very innovative track, IMO completly different from the dozens of track being released lately and pretty easy to distinguish from the rest because of its uniqueness I'd say. Sasha is the man!

"Most horrible tracks in years", "just random", on RA there is a bunch of EDM-elitist who love to make such comments on tracks that are not produced by their fav artists (Burial, Efdemin, Koze, oh ok I love all of them).

And by the way, if you cannot do it yourself you cannot judge the tracks. (jk)

I dont know, i was thinking exactly the same but knowing Sasha, the 3sampler version might have just been a edit (like the ones his manager post on Myspace) or the original classic that inspired Sparky
