nope, it'll never slow u down. the program actually slows its process down to make sure ur leisurly chattin or porno watching is not noticably lagging.

The cure to cancer is Vitamin B17 which is found in Apricot seeds. , you crack open the big seed with the hard shell and has another seed in there...You eat 20 a day to destroy the cancer, and 8 a day to prevent cancer.

Signing up right now! Cancer runs in every male in my family. Greatgrandfather died from it..Grandfater just recently died from it, and my father was having operations to see if it is in him...possibly me once I'm older. So I plan on running this non stop.

Hmmm...more people should run it. It dosent slow my computer down at all. Help out if you can

ah hahaha.. i'm on a celeron too.. haha.. 366mhz... but the cancer proggy runs almost 14 hours a day on my comp, so i get quite a bit of work done, =P.

Ok, I just joined up, and I'm going to end up having it running on several machines...

Weird though, this machine is a dual celeron 366, and it says my pc rating (CPU) is 100, just like the p4 1.5g.. strange.

Also, this software doesn't seem to use both CPU's... One's idling away, smoking cigarettes and getting into trouble...

yeah this software only uses 1 cpu, if you go to the united devies website and do a search in the forums there may be some info on getting the software to run twice, once on cpu1 and once on cpu2.

aye, me too. i tried the seti thing once, but it didn't like my computer. this program seems fine so far. good idea swampy! just imagine if all the registered tranceaddict users were on the team...

how many registered users are there anyway ?

VEry good idea. At least in some small way we put allot of unused cumputing power to work. Is it not like SETI in allot of wayz ? It would be very very funny if for some small reason there was a chernoble virus enbeded in it somewhere.
