No longer serves breakfast! There is a new place, Barney's Uptown, which serves food from 8am. Uptown has booze, but allows you to bring your grass from Barney's, which is just across the street. The Brasserie is also closed (being renovated, maybe). Uptown looks chic and is trying to go upmarket it seems. More space, you get your own table, less chance to talk to other people it seems and the vibe isn't the same. The Irish breakfast was 13.20, and 2 more for coffee. Seems expensive. Great sound system, could depend on what type of music is playing. They serve alcohol. Very chic interior, which I guess is a trend in coffee shops. To the grass: prettiest buds I saw on this trip, and prices to match. Of the 15 items on the menu, only the White Widow was under 10 euro. I tried the Crimea Blue 10 euro and the Red Cherry Berry 11 euro, I liked the Red Cherry more. I noticed they give a price discount if you buy 3 or 5 grams, haven't noticed that before. Given their prices they should! |
ok, good to know.

| Katten Kabinet, [16]. A cat museum. Housed in a beautiful restored palatial home in an upscale area street - very Masterpiece Theater. It was opened by the homeowner after his favourite cat died... and he still lives in the home. Lots of cat-related art, and real felines. |

It's just too bad that the Dutch forum on here is both dead and moderated by a complete prick.
Anyone know a good place to find a centralized event listing for the Netherlands?
