AGNELLI & NELSON (UK)

Agnelli and Nelson have been writing and producing dance music together since 1997 where their massive Balaeric classics 'El Nino' and 'Everyday' helped define the sound of the Ibiza party spirit, while five UK top thirty hits and countless buzz chart remixes catapulted the pair into the big leagues of superstar DJ stardom. Robbie and Chris have remixed major artists from rock legends U2 to dance music heavyweights Ferry Corsten and Armin Van Burren whereas recent club incursions have come through inspired remixes for the likes of Matt Darey, Jon the Dentist, Scott Bond vs Solar Stone and former label-mates Chicane.

More recent releases such as Sleeping In Airports and Wear That Dress became instant club hits, however it was their remix of Big Sky that would prove the biggest success of 2007 being voted number one on Armins A State Of Trance annual roundup. On the travel front, the Irish duo have been spinning throughout the world from the U.S. to Japan, as well as regular European and UK dates such as Passion, Godskitchen, Gatecrasher and Slinky.

lol, can't believe A&N got "big sky" written next to their names, as if they've only ever done that or something...

Still very much this kind of sound mate. Although these days he's gone down more of a psy influenced hard dance style. Still real energetic and uplifting though, definitely not hardstyle.

Because the company that owned The Palace purchased The Metro late last year.

ha! way to confuse melbourne clubbers.

"Where's Airport?"
"Palace."
"Nah, Palace burnt down."
"Nahnah, it's on Bourke Street."
"Nahman, that's Metro. Palace burnt down."
"Nah, it didn't."
"Didn't you see the news?"
"Well yeah, Palace burnt down but now Palace is at Metro."
"I thought Airport was at Metro?"
"Nah, the airports in Tullamarine."
"They're hosting a rave at Tullamarine?"
"Uhm... nah.. wait, maybe.... what were we talking about?"

This looks absolutely massive however i do feel sorry for the person in charge of set times

9 hours 9 dj's....thats not right

Are people worried they might offend people if they don't book them or something?

Yeah thats what i was thinking, the length of set times will prob help me decide if i attend this one, looks awesome but short sets for the internationals will blow big time

Posted by SQ-K on Jan-15-2008 07:39:

^^^ agreed. great lineup, but 5 hours of locals in the main room (as good as they all are) doesn't cut it for me. i reckon i'm gonna go see infected again

Posted by Technikalf on Jan-15-2008 07:40:

Hey guys!

Can't wait for this - very much so looking forward to coming to Australia again!

PS. Definately no hardstyle from the Technikal camp - am still playing the uplifting, euphoric hard trance/hard house stuff - have been working hard in the studio on some nice treats for this tour too

Hopefully see some of you there!
