you should know that whenever there is a TA hangout in another city/state the girl to guy ratio is low! haha

there is another girl in that pic too. No one ever sees her.

ZOMG you're right!

Oh the whole though Mel, I think US trance is a male-dominated genre...

LOLOLOL... so true... But even still; I think it's because house is a little more like hip hop and therefore requires less brain power to "understand".. so the flocks of females tend to go to what they know everyone else thinks is cool...Cause I think in general females are conformists rather than individuals... A difference I've observed between me and my gal pals and my sister and her pals (they're conformists).

hahaha my fav south park episode is the emo episde where they call each other conformists.

but yeah I totally agree with you. I had to drag my boyfriend out to a house party last night and it was not easy. He compares it to hip hop because its one long looped song. lol.

but lol.. I like what you said. Cuz just about every house song is "no one understands house music" type-of-lyrics.

It's like Math...

trance kids love trance
trance kids love house
House kids love house
house kids hate trance and preach it - and that no one really understands house and no one else can like house but them.

I play right in the middle (dirty house at about 135 bpm).... Housey enough to have attitude, but fast enough to still get your blood moving...(which you'll see if you make it there for opening set)

Watch yourself missy! Not gonna hijack this into a house vs trance thread (especially since both are represented on this night!), but while trance is in my opinion more symphonic, I don't think it's fair to say that house is for dummies...haha

I'm not sayin that at all silly noodle ... I prefer house in my own mantrance way... I'm just saying for non-edm'ers house is the easiest to relate to. we could say the same thing vs. dnb (even though hip hop is a huge element of dnb - it's just way to fast for non-edm'ers to relate to).

I DIDN'T SAY THAT AT ALL LOLOL...

I clarify to say that it is easier for non- edm peoples to relate to compared to the other genres. I like house and trance, I'm not hatin'!

Edit: Dani, you know I wouldn't say something to mean that!
