Whatever happened to the Libertarian Party, the Constitution Party and the Green Party?

Edwards really needs to drop out. He and Obama are splitting the vote something awful.

Seriously, he's just wasting everyone's time at this point...

Libertarians: Couldn't make it to the party because the toll roads were too expensive.
Constitutors: Just couldn't manage to amend themselves into the limelight.
Greenies: They just plum forgot to show up.

This just in: Hillary Clinton has announced 'Martin Luther King Jr. Day' no longer exists.
From now on, she says, it will be known as January 15th.

I made a poll thread about the same thing on TOTA :-
Take a look :-

The entire MLK, Jr. controversy is really annoying - it's just a case of the media blowing something out of proportion in order to hit HRC unfairly. I'm no Clinton fan, but it's getting pretty pathetic. Hit her on issues, not on something she said that is factually correct.
TPM has a pretty good analysis of the whole sideshow:

Hilary Clinton scares me as much as Joseph Lieberman does.

Lol take that back!
edit: I have a very, very, very low opinion of Joe Lieberman.
But I do want to take the bait and ask where the deep-seated hatred of Hillary comes from.

Anti-Christ... hmmm... somehow that wasn't the substantiation I was looking for.

Isn't the anti-christ just what the US needs?

Nah, we've already got one in office, thanks.
I'm pretty sure in the long run another Republican will take the election. I'm not sure what the Democrats are thinking, but most likely they'll vote someone in who is NOT ELECTABLE. Both Obama and Clinon have plenty of supporters around the US but when it comes time to step inside the polling booth come November I just don't see the American people making either of them our president.
I think Republicans know that neither Clinton or Obama are electable, which is why so many of them are running.
This is not to say that I don't want to see one of the Democratic frontrunners in office.. just that I doubt it will happen very much.

=\ .. Kinda sucked having to try and explain the above concept to people (including TAs) I met while traveling through Germany and Belgium a couple of months ago, who asked me why Americans voted Bush in twice..
It's kinda weird taking criticism abroad. I'm definitely more defensive of the US overseas, but sometimes there's there's little that can be said about certain things..
Even if Clinton or Obama took office I wonder how long either of them would last..

I'm voting Hillary. I know right now it's just words, but her campaign is big on increasing funding for scientific research.
more money for science = my parents getting more federal funding for their individual research

Honestly forget about names and everything just get someone in the office who actually care about issues at home then issues abroad.

Double standards for the most part - the obvious nitpick issue is the war in Iraq, but the one that matters far, far more to me is the censorship issue. In particular, Hillary is another democrat who feels compelled to take on the video game industry because it's the one area she feels even most democrats won't fault her for attacking. At the end of the day she's still all for fascist practices when it comes to censoring art, and I think once you start down that road it's a slippery slope.
If I didn't have to go to class right now I'd love to actually put down on paper (or internets) all the reasons I can't stand Hillary - I think it might be fun!
