ronaldinho won't leave barca for chelsea, I don't think that'll happen any time soon....unless he jumps for cash...who knows. It's been a rumour since 2005.

drogba may leave chelsea (on the back end of the rumour jose murinho may manage barcelona), so is the possibility of them losing lampard....his family lives in Spain, so that would be logical, but who knows for sure.

ummm...who gives a fuck about Chelsea?

Posted by christos on Feb-18-2008 00:08:

who gives a fuck about everton? I've been a chelsea supporter for years back when Zola was pumping goal after goal with his boofed out hair style.

anyway....what's the G-O with Liverpool...what a fvcking shitty performance in the FA cup against Barnsley? LOL they seriously have issues, fuck off the manager, he and the players don't know what's going on anymore.

oh and Man U 4-0 Arsenal they were thumped hard, love watching Man U down the gunners, such a spectacle...ey Paulie_C, you reckon they lost on purpose??? no point in putting in a performance for the cup ey?? LOLOLOL

The coventry v west brom game was pretty wicked, what a game by west brom pumping 5 in.

Read in the herald sun on the weekend that they're trying to secure a Man U v Arsenal game to be held at either the MCG, Telstra Dome or the new rectangular stadium that should be completed end of 2009 (??)...I read that it was only supposed to be Sydney...should be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Posted by RaVVaR on Feb-18-2008 00:12:

im stoked liverpool lost.

Posted by 00soups00 on Feb-18-2008 00:13:

put a melon on Tottenham at $2.35 for a win head-to-head against Chelsea for Carling Cup..

should be interesting..

Carn' the Spurs!!!

Hey Chris, did you see our wingbacks

Armand traore (never played an EPL game) just turned 18

Justin Hoyte (played about 5 epl games, about 19 years old

Inexperience killed us

did u hear me say they lost it on purpose?

Im cursing they lost, but we got beaten by a better team with more depth, which is woorrying come the end of the season.

PS: we are still 8 pts up on chelsea and have spent about 200 million less than them, so i guess we are doing something right

lol at the defensiveness, I was having a subtle dig at your comments you'd made a while back about the loss in the carling cup

nah that's good that Arsenal is 8 points ahead, the pressure is on harder now for the club to HOLD that lead and maintain some composure. On the other hand, it doesn't matter if Chelsea finish 3rd or 2nd, the real test is what Avram can do come start of next season. then it'll really be a test of his credentials and how he has gelled with the team.

I can see this season neck and neck Man U and Arsenal....chelsea 3rd

Posted by PauLie_C on Feb-18-2008 00:51:

agreed

and i hope liverpool dont finish 4th, they really dont deserve it, id like to see everton, man city or villa get 4th they are all playing above themselves

Posted by Lister Cooray on Feb-18-2008 01:18:

come on man u! no giggs, scholes, ronaldo or hargraeves - thats our whole midfield right there.

anderson and nani will replace scholes and giggs when they retire - no dramas at all.

champions league this week...arsenal v milan, man u v lyon

who you guys got pana?

Posted by PauLie_C on Feb-18-2008 01:40:

Olympiakos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by christos on Feb-18-2008 02:07:

bingo! It's going to be a quality game I hope, olympiakos may cause an upset I think the game is on @ 5:45am (our time) so I don't think I'll be watching it live...lol

well man u and arsenal are also playing teams at the top of their domestic table, this could get interesting guys. I'm sweating just the thought of it all. I'd be worried about AC Milan(ronaldo is out with a ankle injury) giving Arsenal a shake up. Man U should beat Lyon, dunno if it'll be easy but should be able to take it home.

it's heating up!!!

Posted by Philby on Feb-18-2008 03:13:

so the ffa doesn't want any epl games to be played here. i thought that would be pretty cool, i thought a lot of players and fans here would enjoy that but apparently it would get in the way of the a-league too much...

yeah i agree just cause of the a league , the epl kills the a league

Posted by Fledz on Feb-18-2008 07:06:

It's all politics and if they just agree to the EPL spreading then there could be massive problems.

First of all, UEFA and FIFA don't agree to the EPL proposal so who gives a fuck what the FFA or Asian Conf thinks. I can't believe the EPL had the audacity to say that they don't need to ask anyone for permission. Err....what exactly are UEFA and FIFA here for then? Morons

Would be nice to see an EPL game here but there's just way too many obstacles to make it happen.

Posted by christos on Feb-18-2008 22:58:

at the end of the day money talks, organisations that claim to have muscle, when it comes to one of the biggest $$$ grossing leagues on the planet, are on acid. If they are prepared to invest big $$ in exporting the league, fine....I win, I'll enjoy watching the games....couldn't care how the A-league or any other federation is effected....just bring the game here you cvnts!
