At a meeting held Wednesday afternoon, Education Director Gerry Connolly vowed officials will be approaching this divisive issue with extreme care. "Everybody is asking how do we know you will be making a difference and our commitment is to ensure that we all know we are making a difference and why we are making difference," she promises. But don't expect to hear any real specifics until later in the spring. "We will be receiving the many proposals received ... about ways to improve success for black students and in May, we will report back to the board of trustees with an action plan based on their proposals." For her part, Wynne hopes the Board has found a solution to the high rate of black students dropping out, but adds the government prefers an "inclusive" solution, noting "our preference would not be to have a separate school." Education Specialist Cynthia Mulligan will have more on the reaction to the vote on CityNews at Five and Six.

streched "escalades" fo sho..... in reality they will be 1980 used bluebird school buses, with most of the windows and seats missing, stolen escalade logos will be stuck on the back doors and front girlles.

further investigation will show spinning hubcaps stolen from canadian tiere will be duct taped to the rims as they do not come in sizes large enough for high wall radial rims such as those found on busses.

The interior seating will consiste of couches found on the curb after rainstorms, that no doubt came froma crack house that was recently raided by the police. numerous needles and used condoms will be availible between the cushions.

the stereo in the bus will undoubtedly feature over 40 stolen 15" sub woofers, all under powered, with no mid range or high range speakers to bee seen. the result will be overwhelming low end, that can be felt 3 blocks away.

these busses will get stolen regularly

surprisingly the Raptors do alot for the community. they just built this huge park somewhere in Toronto.
