the first like 30 mins of savietto was absolute ownage. then he tapered off a bit before dropping saltwater - the legacy (alphazone remix) which was pure sex

Posted by Fpcookie on Mar-11-2008 03:42:

oh btw jolz it wasnt a marco v track that sherry played. the one i was thinking of was Passive Resistance - Praiseworthy Tunes

lol doh!

Posted by Fpcookie on Mar-11-2008 04:33:

also here's my attempt at sherry's tracklist (not in order)

Nenes & Pascal Feliz - Platinum Bullet (Mark Sherry mash-up)
Sander van Doorn - Riff (Sherry's 'Testify' edit)
Passive Resistance - Praiseworthy Tunes (Hoipolloi Mix) (sherry edit?)
Skydive feat Jan Johnson - Freefall (Joint Operations Centre remix) (Sherry's vocal edit)
Chemical Brothers - Hey Boy Hey Girl (Tim Davison remix) (Heatbeat rework)
Mark Sherry vs Terry Ferminal - Walk Away (Mark Sherry's Outburst Mix)
Polymental - Chapter One (Mark Sherry's 'Trance Energy' remix)
Cosmic Gate - Fire Wire (2008 mix)
Joey V - Chopperchunk (Mark Sherry's 2007 Outburst Mix)
Public Domain - Operation Blade (Sherry Outburst Remix or something ??)

he was goin crazy on the sampling/echos/delays during chopperchunk so it might not have sounded like it but im pretty sure that its the right remix

Rasta

Had heaps of fun.

Mark Sherry rocked! Played even better than what he did at Pharmacy Frozen. That Fire Wire remix rocked + so many other great tunes

SET OF THE NIGHT: MAX SAVIETTO
Loved his style, LOVED IT! Hope it wont be too long before he comes back to play in Melb. Yes Chubbs he did play No Hacker too.

Livesets

Hey, did has anyone got any livesets from the night?

Posted by Sypha on Mar-21-2008 13:33:

Doubt it. People don't tend to record sets in Melb which really sucks

Posted by Paranoid on Mar-22-2008 00:35:

how would I(hypothetically) record the liveset -- would i need permission? how do i get the quality and filter out the background noise, etc. ?

Posted by xmike on Mar-22-2008 01:02:

you would need a special mic....they cost fuckloads tho.

other option is to plug a recording device into one of the outputs on the mixer.

Posted by Paranoid on Mar-22-2008 01:23:

hahaha -- would a dj such as mark sherry appreicate that?

Posted by Fpcookie on Mar-22-2008 02:13:

the other thing is if the show is broadcast live on the radio someone can record it on their computer

hmm yeah the crowd was a little bit disapointing, i was expecting a MUCH bigger crowd gotta say though i liked your set much more than your Frozen set. thats saying a lot too cos i loved your Frozen set haha

I agree too! Mark's set this time round even rocked more than at Frozen & his Frozen set was set of the night last year!

hmmmmm I have a feeling crowd numbers will be similar like this past Pharm for future Pharm nights! Transmission will prob get a bigger crowd!

who knows may very well be wrong!
