"Just where is that button that makes my pos sound like Ferry?" TA production forums were loosing ground and thats when I knew it was time to get out. APN (The AudioPioneers Network) was born. We pulled a bunch of people from TA, and Tnu alike but all people with great attitudes and a bit higher knowledge of production and created an invite only / exclusive community where we could trade thoughts on a higher level. The results have been amazing, and we have an amazingly "warm" community you know kinda like an analog piece of gear! You can submit an "application" for consideration and I do try to get them all reviewed asap. But feel free to get in touch with me for more info. We respect all of our members and knowledge as a result flows! [/QUOTE]

Really sums this place up and I can appreciate the need for an invite only site.

Still some helpful people on here though and nice to see older members still helping newbies who have at least made some effort to answer their questions.

I read the forums at apn quite often and there does seem to be a real sense of community.

Nice to see that someone had the initiative to set it up and it's flourishing rather well.

Best of Luck

I remember those days..Fuck, i do miss them.

Funny, i was browsing APN last day because i am bored at my work. Then i see it's an invite only forum.

Few days later a mail comes to my hotmail, with the notifaction of the sean tyas interview. I forgot i was once invited there haha. Made only 2 posts there ;/

Nice website though!

you peoople are the type of tits that wear "trance.nu" or APN t-shirts and meet up at dance events cause u have no real mates.

fucking members only site. twats. does it make u feel special?

heres a newsflash.. the "good old days" went with the good old music - now its just stale bedroom producers trance, all the big name producers have slowed releases down to a crawl.

Posted by Storyteller on Feb-06-2008 15:05:

Ah yes the good old days... The good old days where people would respect eachothers opinions and would not make it personal. And no swearing either. Yep, those where the days. Too bad they're over eh rubez?

Posted by rb2k1 on Feb-06-2008 15:11:

As for the topic at hand, it seems Tyas agrees with me which is cool =P

quote:
Q: What can we expect to see from you in 2008? Do you have any special tracks in the works right now? Will we ever see a Sean Tyas debut album?

A: Looking to try new things for me which is already far overdue. Way too much offbeat basslines going around now so it is time again to put that element to sleep, and instead focus possibly on the less is more approach to trance. More attention to detail and the actual full mix. This allows for a much more dynamic mix, and for example, the work I did on the Dave 202 - Rain Against Her, was really nice because all the elements had tons of room to breathe.

rubez is the biggest joke this forum has ever seen, perhaps other than lordofbass. lordofbass at least had some style and character, so i would say rubez is far more deserving of a darwin award.

take a look at this thread, then just feel sorry for the guy and ignore him.
