Reading that Schulz thread, it's kind of funny seeing so many people willing to side with Markus. Can't help but wonder what a similar post from him would yield from TA these days.
@ The Luxor Thread
I've only made it to page 3 of that thread and I can barely contain my laughter...I WILL spend the next few minutes reading the rest...
....and If shit like that keeps up, I will definitely die laughing to death @ the TA forums.

I'm not entirely sure why the word "dance" was repeated, but this may have been some kind of rhythmic device, similar to those used in homosexual nightclubs from the early 90s. Lyrically, this track intrigued me. Could such a blistering complexion of sounds really cause me to "drop dead"? And if so, why exactly would I want to end my life at such a peak of euphoria? The dreary 6 remaining minutes of this piece answered both questions. As the gated sawtooth melody tore its way into the foreground, I began to call my own existence into question. Why am I here? Why am I listening to a host of such ridiculously penetrative noises? Why did I even bother to download an mp3 from someone with the name of "Lord Of Bass"? As feelings of remorse and even depression began to sweep my insides, I began searching for the nearest sharp instrument. However, around the 8:10 mark, this track starts to improve dramatically. All the sounds fade to silence, and the listener is presented with 12 blank seconds, presumably which the producer forgot to remove at the end of his piece. This felt almost like making love to a beautiful woman after being whipped with spiked ropes for 8 minutes, and I quickly found myself experiencing a natural high. To conclude, I would certainly not recommend this production to everyone. In fact, I would not recommend it to anyone. I would actually be very wary of this critically-acclaimed "Lord Of Bass" and his Amiga 500 music. |
The Dave Piazza thing was hilarious when it happened. You should check it out for a trip down TA memory lane. The DJ Luxor thread is amazing as well.

Swamper stated that he misunderstood a conversation he had with him and would remove it immediately but other TA's took it upon themselves to defend the site and Swamper and a huge flame war erupted against Airbase eventually driving him off the site for a while,but even when he came back the damage was done in a lot of TA's eyes. To this day a lot of TA's i know who dont like Airbase point out that thread as one of the reasons they dont like him, and i remember one TA took it upon himself to post negative comments and reviews against Airbase in every thread he started or was mentioned in,sometimes going head to head against Airbase himself in many threads,in which surprisingly the TA came out looking the better. There were a lot of flame threads about it afterwards which im sure with some searching they can be located. |
