The Armada Party was the Best party of WMC HANDS DOWN!!!

Every Dj that I saw that night played there A+++++ game set.

It has been on and off with me a few times that I have seen Armin. He played a few tracks in there that where Blah.. but over all it was one of the better Armin sets I heard.

I enjoyed Remy's set a lot too!!!

Markus set on the other hand... OMG OMG OMG.. OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! I have lost count in the number times I have seen Markus (think I have missed 4-5 west cost shows since my discovery 4 years ago ) But this set was the most amazing set I EVER HEARD FROM HIM!!! It is really hard to put into words how each track and how this set made me feel. Simply mind blowing!!!! Every track with every progression got better and better in the 5 hours he mixed.

I did how ever seek away for 10 minutes to catch a little bit of Menno's set since I have never seen him before. With in that 10 minutes he got a new fan. Amazing!!!!

My thoughts exactly!! I've seen both Armin and Markus soo many times. I really went into this night with low expectations. In fact, up until the last minute, I was still trying to find out what other parties were going on that night that I could go to instead.. Wow, am I glad that nothing peaked my interest. Armin played mostly a very melodic uplifting trance set that just really matched the mood of the venue and crowd. It really was a nice change up from the hard banging sounds of the previous few nights. It definitely got me going when I thought I was all out of energy for the week.
Then Markus............
.......................up until Saturday night I had always thought of Markus as a pretty good dj who you could go see, know what to expect, and have a pretty good time...... But holy sh*t that set was on a whole 'nother level and blew me away!!! Bomb after bomb, remix after remix, more and more energy as the nearly five hour set progressed. Never had I seen him spin quite like that before. I try not to "rank" my favorite djs too often, but if I did, Markus would have jumped about 30 spots in one evening! As I consistently flash back to last week, the images and sounds that come to the forefront of my mind the most are from this party. Armin definitely did his thing, but Markus made this night special.

hahaha... well, let's just say that I was exagerating just a tiny bit for effect. He definitely was not THAT low, but he's never been in what I would call my top ten favs............ until a week ago.
