I didn't listen to CD 1 very long, nothing really caught my attention, though I'll need to give it another chance. The 2nd disc has some pretty good stuff on it though. |

I'm gonna stay optimistic for this one since Armin's set at Opera was excellent and I just saw Tiesto recently!
I'm pumped!
Does anyone know who's opening?
I just hope this set is good... ISOS7 was really good, so my hopes are up. I just wish I had seen him perform during his ISOS1-3 / In My Memory golden years
Roland Darragh
I'm gonna be there. My friends never been to an edm event before...and of course he wants to see Tiesto.
I'm excited though, its been awhile since I've been
able to make it out to anything and its better than nothing.
have the times been announced yet?
nyctal,
i have taken a bunch of friends to see a couple different djs. if your friends have a lot of energy and like to have fun, tiesto is prolly the best show you can take them to because everyone is so fired up for it. with that being said, i was disappointed in tiesto the last time he came to atlanta, but my friends (8 of them who had never been to a dj, nor are really into trance) loved seeing him
Haha same here, I took some noobs to Tiesto last time and they had the time of their life. I was like

I think Tiesto's great and all, but it's bewildering to me why all these people that know nothing of trance seem to know and love Tiesto? I guess that's why he always sells out here. I am happy I got to see him last year at the trade center, but this will be the second time he has sold out when I was hoping to go. The first time was his show at the tabernacle. Seriously though, why is he the go to dj for people who have never been to anything like this?
pvdfan,
i think tiesto is the go to guy because of the whole production, it is way above anyone else i have seen (besides when i went to a sensation series). tiesto also seems to get into it more, work the crowd a little harder, and the crowd seems to love it which makes the atmosphere go crazy. i also think his music is not as dark (i dont know the word to use here, his music sounds a little more "popish" but thats not a good word to use. i myself, still love going tiesto although i was a little disappointed in him at the trade center last september (he did not look into it at all). i havent seen that many djs, but i have seen a fair share, and tiesto and his show really just captivates a crowd like no one else i have seen
it would be nice if he drops "rain down on me" tomorrow night. i doubt he will, but i havent heard him drop it in a while
All right, it's on!
music was great... too bad he bounced in the middle of the last track. i'll post the tracks I remember later today.
I've never felt so...stuck in my life.
haha...got to see some pics

Just woke up.
Yeah the turkey bounced in the middle of the last track... him, his crew, everyone with the track still playing. At that point I bounced immediately so I could grab a cab before 1,000 people tried to do the same thing.
I splurged for an "all you can drink" bracelet so I was upstairs... really NOT crowded upstairs compared to other nights because bracelets STARTED at $100 last night compared to most other nights when they are $20.
I'll be working on the tracklist and posting vids of IDs later on.
What I remember right now though...
- Andy Duguid Featuring Leah - Wasted
- Kaskade - 4 AM (Adam K & Soha Mix)
- Jerry Ropero Featuring Cozi - The Storm (Inpetto Remix)
- Cary Brothers - Ride (Tisto Remix)
- Imogen Heap - Hide And Seek (Tisto's In Search Of Sunrise Remix)
- DJ Eremit - Tanz Der Seele (YOMC Remix)
- Dokmai - Reason To Believe
- Cass Fox - Touch Me (Mike Koglin vs. Jono Grant Remix)
- Terk Dawn - Barent Blue (Marninx Pres. Monogato Remix)
- Alex Kunnari - Lifter
- Virtual Vault - Request
There were a few I missed in between "Reason To Believe" and "Touch Me" because I had to go outside for a few minutes and the rest are either IDs for me or I was too drunk to pick up on it, haha!
Hope that helps...

Reflections on Tiesto and more
Had a really great night last night! Had a nice meal at Trois and was totally moved. Suprisingly the line into Opera moved a lot faster than usual, and it wasn't raining. YAY!!! I have spent many a nights standing in line in the rain so I am thankful for that.
Of course it made it even better going with some really great people who are totally positive and not at all dramatic and stuck-up. There is already a large concentration of those types of people (especially girls) so I don't like to add to it. It just sucks when people spill their drinks on you or cut you in the mile long line for the bathroom and they don't care. For some reason they feel they are entitled. hhhhmm....
Yeah I wasn't cool enough to have a "all you can drink" braclet. Acutally, I didn't even know that was an option or I SO would have done that! Sad. Well, it pretty much sucked down on the lower level it was just too crowded so we went out on the terrace which was filled with a buncha kids (I am serious they looked like they were 12 years old) doing extacy. Been there, done that. But it's cool. Personally, I thought that the music and energy was great but a bigger venue is needed! Anyone going to Oscar G in August? I am really not that familiar with his music but I will be checking it out here soon. Any suggestions? Will it be a good show?
