rant away.... its on my mind still. but as my friend told me, its like a breakup and it will take time to get over...

however, in perspective, life goes on. i can't fly anywhere to see them before the end of their tour (but believe me i was looking into it on Saturday afternoon), so i'll have to hope they come back (but not get too excited about it...)

Out of respect for our city, and the huge crowd of true fans that Friday night had drawn.... i would be truly impressed with tour management if this was rescheduled.

Hi Katy,

I am sorry to hear your disappointment in the show on Friday in Toronto. Sasha was very upset about not being able to make it. In regards to your request, we are hoping to add a second leg of the tour in the fall and would most certainly return to Toronto to make it up to everyone!

Again... I apologize for any disappointment!

However, the reason I am writing is in hopes that a consideration will be made for a return for these two legends to Toronto for a make up event in the near future. I personally, have been waiting four years for this event to happen, as I have never seen John and Sasha play together before.

The energy, the vibe, the excitement and anticipation for this night is like nothing I have ever experienced either by myself or with my friends in my life.

I know I am one person, but I do speak for many, and our appreciation for the music that these two men contribute to our close knit scene is immense.

All I ask is that you please keep Toronto in mind, and know that a return for this duo in the near future would be welcomed with more then open arms.

WTF! I emailed "Randi" as well and I got the exact SAME response. This message is just some cut an paste bs.

Yo we should ask her for free tix since Kool Haus was incompatant in giving refunds for everyone.

yes i agree. but it seems that ppl just seem to want to continue to complain and blame the Kool Haus for something that was not their fault.

MAYBE the letter is a cut and paste job- fine. I don't care. The point being is that they are aware that people were disspointed, and that maybe something will be made up to Toronto.

There was a bit of personal touch to my reply in regards to my "still enjoying John's set" and "thanks for being such a great fan". Who cares if the rest is cut and paste- they took the time to cut and paste a response to me. They could have blown it off as some random complaining again.

No matter how much this night had upset me (and everyone who knows me, knows how much it did).... It is almost a week later.... I'd sooner be proactive and write a letter and get a somewhat generic reply then to continue to bitch and compain about what didn't happen and what could have or should have happened over and over again....

I dunno I was never offered the refund option or the free pass option for the next night with 2 free drink tix. I guess I need someone to point the finger at...like at the door it was 30 bucks at the door and I paid 45 approx through Ticketmaster. As stated earlier, no one told me anything UNTIL I saw the notice at the merchandise stall. Like I'd probably still pay 45 only for Digweed, but just irked that didn't even consider any options for me.

About the e-mail msg, I thought I had a received a "unique" response until I saw this thread. Yeah I agree that at least she took the time out to say something to me.

I really hope she's not bs'ing, and S & D come back to T-Dot.
