Watching movies and creating music, mostly.

Usually I get on the net at my school's library for a bit each day to read some on TA and check my e-mail. But since I started living in an apartment without it I'm using it so much less than I used to and it feels pretty good.

I use it as a way to combat spending money. But yeah, I use it less than I used to. Most of my usage is actually at work.

Strangely enough, I miss it very little.

i'm in the same boat... except i'm just waiting until Sept 17th for my internet to get installed.

not bad since i've got internet access 8+ hours a day while i'm at work.

now i just drink wine and watch anime and play with the cat and text people when i get really bored.

My best friend spent 2 years in Argentina. They are very judgmental there. All the things they do are just insane.

Sometimes I dream of living without even a phone line. I get this little irritating sensation whenever I hear the phone ring - like I've just been reminded that my little sanctuary from the outside world can be breached at the press of a button, by anyone. I don't know how you cellphone people do it.

I don't have a land phone line at my apartment, either.

If I turn my cell phone off, I'm completely cut off from any remote contact -- the only way anyone can reach me is to come knock on my door.

It's an awesome feeling.

That might be a good idea for when I move out next year. Not that I want to isolate myself from people completely, but I like the idea of deciding when I want to interact with them, and being able to catch a break once in a while. I'm not usually one to hold grudges on technology, but phones are the one thing I really hate passionately. Mainly because you don't really have a choice, everyone expects you to have one.

Even though everyone expects you to have one, it is also in how you treat the phone. If people think you will always answer, they expect you to. Everyone I know knows NEVER to call me 100x in a row or I will bitch them right the fuck out for it. If I don't answer they know to leave a message or text me. Not call back right after.

How I wish all my aquaintances were that easy to get rid of.

lol really that bad? I fucking HATE people who call right back when I don't answer. I haven't had a problem with it in a long ass time. In fact I can't remember the last time I had it happen when it wasn't warranted. I can't even remember the last time when it was warranted.
