you could tell people were itching for this big, ever since this difficult winter
mighty kat was awesome and the guy after was the highlight in my view, was surprised to hear him playing vocals 
which is a rare occasion over there

Great party. Have been waiting for piknic to start again for months now. Have never seen so many people at piknic before!! and for the first one of the season! I remember last year, around may-june, it was raining and you could count the number of people on your hands.
Piknic is probably one of the best elements of our scene in Montreal. The music is perfect, the price, the beer, the location, everything. I think it's also the one event that most TAs don't bicker about either! Very few to no negative reviews, and rightly so.

no no there were a group of 14 year old kids with backpacks smoking some wierd shit,
trust me i know what a bong is and that was not it...
as for the babies, that is what i was tripping out about they werent even far from the speakers, they were like right there on the dancefloor with the moms, i was like wtf ??

Does piknic have any kind of security or they look the other way?

Hopefully for piknic, they police themselves, cause the real police is always for a lookout for more work.
the kids area is actually further away from the dance floor this year. As far as people doing drugs openly, when i see that, I personally remind them that there are kids at piknic and i encourage everyone to do the same. The security at piknic is friendly and we want to keep it this way. It's everyone's responsibility to help keep it clean, fun, and "family friendly". This debate is getting old anyway, go to tamtam and you'll see worse things like parents actually smoking joints with their kids.
