I would just like to say, for the record, that if it was someone from another promotion company was posting about a relationship change between Ink and one of the djs I am friends with, I would be ALL OVER THAT SHIT TOO!

hmmmmm well first off everyone is entitled to thier point of view and i will not put down any views or ideology...

here is my thoughts on a few theories of vine/jeff beef or promotion beefs.

There is nothing to solidify that jeff or vince have bad blood directly.

Vince, made it clear he was curious, though he was at M.A.N.D.Y. the night before, rumors were probably flying and perhaps he tunred to the boards for a second opinion?

The only way i could see this as a "spit in the face" to jeff was if the junkies took over Exposed, and then vince or val posted the thread.

Its easy to speculate but really without actual facts we can't accuse anyone of being guilty.

I am not a "ink" fan nor a JBUTTON "hater". Infact i hate most of the small time nickle and dime promoters in this city...anyway I can see where some of the theories come from regarding vince's post as being some sort of internet rhetoric, but i still don't that is the case.

Jbutton has apparently moved on by personal choice, he obviously has a fan base evident on this board, and he's a proven business man with the purchase of a beverage line...I have yet to see one negative post regarding him, mod or any of the promoters or staff involved, unless i am missing something?

Matt, I didn't say there was any 'beef' between them, not at all. I don't think for one second there is. With all due respect too, you're fairly new to this and one day, I will verbally explain to you some history.

Politically, I think this thread was in bad taste. I would LOVE everyone to get along and like I said, if I thought it was pure curiosity, I would have left it at that. I don't think that it was and so I called it.

I respect everyones thoughts and theories and i think now its definatley getting kind of personal and i see it as none of my business, seeing as i know as much as the majority in the situation...which is not alot

I haven't been allll over but i can definitely say our main edm competitor in Canada (montreal) is definitely all about the buck, promoting, clicks and fasades.

I work in corporate production and I am frequently helping out my competitors, be it some quick intel or lending them a cable or a pair of hands if need be. If you need gear in a pinch, I may charge depending on what it is, but usually it pays for itself in good will. It's gotten me jobs, I've gotten jobs for others and everyone walks away happy. We may be in competition, but there's no bad blood.

There's enough business out there for everyone without being a douche because, sooner or later, that shit comes back to you.

And really, what fun is a party if you're worried about being seen talking to the wrong person.

Honestly Jenny, who else in the nearest possible realm could she be talking about? It was a direct inference to our constant back and forth bickering. (and hence the NOW discussion on �scene politics� + different camps)
