| Originally posted by Alain That was the most fun, party music I ever heard there. I mean for a second, I got so lost in the fun of it all that I stopped thinking I was at Ruby Skye. Any stereotype people have of this place was left at the door last night. Great Crowd, Great Party, Great Fun |

First, we are CBS Interactive now...a part of the CBS Corporation
Second, in LA working E3...and was up all night working. I FINALLY got a good nap in...I had only 15 hours sleep TOTAL between last thursday and last night.....most difficult E3 ever.
E3 is over, but still some more work to do...will be doing it over the weekend w/o killing myself....

| Originally posted by Alain Let me put it this way. It wasn't the best music I heard at Ruby Skye and I'm speaking more from personal preference. He was extremely nice, when Yoji approached me at the deck he pretty much said "Keep going, just let me know when you'd like me to come on" I was like "Dood, they've been waiting forever for you to play SF" I saw on it on his face right there - it was that look of "you're absolutely right, I'm ready, Let me destroy this place now" Yoji is a DJ in every way. Awesome night. He ripped it. Thank You |
Rizo, great pics. i especially like the sneakers photos and the photo stand off with Rafa ha ha

First off I want to thank everyone who came out to the party on Thursday night for YOJI! The vibe was great, I got to the club around 10:30 and was talking with people and hanging out on the dance floor listening to Alain's opening techno set and I agree that it set the stage nicely for YOJI's performance.
The anticipation of the crowd waiting for YOJI was something I haven't experienced at an event in a long time, there was excitement in the air as midnight neared and everyone knew YOJI was about to play but none of us really knew what to expect.
YOJI got on the decks and cranked the BPM up, I mean way up, the crowd packed the dance floor and it was clear YOJI was not going to hold back! The rest of the evening flew by, I was talking to and meeting a lot of people on the floor and fully enjoyed the tracks YOJI was playing.
My closing set was short and sweet, I dropped Zombie Nation as it totally fit the moment
happily the crowd approved, I only had enough time to play 2 more tracks before they started turning the lights on... I ended with the sean tyas remake of Fly Away.
Over all it was a great night, I'm looking forward to doing it all again this coming Friday with The Crystal Method... I started a thread here: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...3&forumid=60&s=
Have a good weekend everyone!

And the key word is.....
FUN!!!!! It was a blast. Ruined me for the weekend though. Good weekend to give the home and garden some TLC though.
I really enjoyed seeing everyone. There was actually a pretty good TA turn out. I got there like at 9:45pm and there was only one dude I knew from 1015. He kept telling me, "Dude slow down it's only 10:30. haha I knew by midnight the dancefloor would be full - needed the aerobics. Very fun time.
Enjoy the weekend everyone

Please convince Ruby to bring Yoji back soon. Not "sooner rather than later," but just flat out SOON! When doing so, please make sure I WILL BE AROUND. Please? Pretty please?
OK, this sounds corny.
JUST DO IT!
DaveT
PS. He should play LoveFest sometime! He's break the crowd in half!
