Keryn,
I just started class part time for my Masters Degree in Real Estate Development at NYU. The networking there has been very good so far (no job yet though). There are a ton of events and connections you will meet... plus the class has been interesting thus far. The program is a huge investment but for me it was a no brainer. I was in IT audit at Teloitte & Douche, recently laid off at the end of Feb (couldnt stand the work anyway)... I've wanted to get into the Real Estate industry and thought going back to school would be the best transition. Still havent found a full time position yet, but that will come eventually.

Actually, I work for a startup software company that deals with the entertainment industry. My official title is "QA Engineer", but I do a lot of different things from documenting software to user training.

Just doing this for now until I eventually apply to business school.

that will be $400 an hour.

when you say that consider the part about 'mega corporations.' while i have a pretty good grasp of individual tax issues and estate planning, i'm much more versed in international transactions and mergers and acquisitions. but i'm trying to move into structuring securities - hybrid offerings and such.

the heck with the B18C1!!! Maybe the B18C5 ... . maybe! Gotta give credit to the first engine I was exposed to!

But I remains bias as to my 3L I6 engine - smoothness & power (yeah it's a NA), nothing compared to the upcoming 3L TT Diesel I6

My partner and I played a great cat and mouse game with a MKIV this past sat. on BP-East; he had the stock JZ-GE engine .. although when I first pulled up, I was waiting for the blowoff, instead of "shhhhhhhhhhhh" it was "waaaaaaaaaaaa" sounding. - NAs. what an embarrasement. I speak for myself as well, lmfao.

lmao - which gen do you plan on getting?

i rushed into law school - i wish i took some time off between undergrad and hell.

too bad you weren't starting in 08, in a year the economy will start picking up again, and in two years the economy will probably run into overdrive, jobs will be easy to find.

At least I'll benefit with better admission rates when I apply

Starting my final year as a FT student at Stony Brook University. Finished a BA in Japanese (Language & Culture) and this last year will bag me a BS in Biochemistry.

Then... I dunno.

I want to say med school but the future looks grim for multiple reasons (one of which would be if Obama took office). I'm probably going to go teach English in Japan for a year.

Well I wouldn't waist my time or money on anything other than the MK4 Supra or 3rd gen RX-7

aw I thought you were going to med school right away. What's this with Obama policies discouraging you? Go for it anyway, are you kidding? Doctors are always needed.
