+1 Except I never thought my life was over

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-12-2008 00:34:

In my late teens/early 20's I was convinced I would die in my early 30's. Guess we'll see what happens.

Ok Grandma Jenny, do you want me to cut your chicken up for you?

Posted by Slylee on Jun-12-2008 00:57:

i dont understand what the big deal is about wanting to buy furniture. when i moved into my apt i was practically foaming at the mouth when i walked into ikea. i love buying shit for my place.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-12-2008 01:01:

No big deal really...I've always liked thinking about how I would decorate my place and love getting new shit. It's more the fact that instead of allocating myself money for parties and shit, I save it for grown up stuff like furniture.

I had a fun time too when I moved out, picked out all my shit ahead of time and couldn't fucking wait to get it.

Posted by Slylee on Jun-12-2008 01:03:

well then just think of it as u are creating the ultimate party pad? problem solved.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Jun-12-2008 01:07:

Bahaha yeah right, my apartment is only 600 square feet. I don't even have a dining space.

My bedroom is pretty fucking pimp though. It's the whole top floor.

<3 my apartment.

Posted by Slylee on Jun-12-2008 01:14:

my place is nicer on the inside...building is a little older and run down but we have new management and they are painting and putting on a new roof and giving it a total makeover so i'm happy about that. inside has wood floors and it's pretty updated and pimp i likey. and my apt building borders million dollar homes on the intercoastal so it's a nice walk when i take my dog out.

Posted by Slylee on Jun-12-2008 01:16:

oh and so what about square footage. if u have it decorated nice, there's no saying that u can't have little get togeters for predrinking at least. i've gone to preparties in studios before in sobe. it was fine.

that's probably the silliest thing i've ever heard in my life. if u were like that at 20, i'm scared to see what you'll be like pushing 30 lol. just dont get any pastic surgery until after 40 ok?

Posted by barbina on Jun-12-2008 01:31:

hahah I have plans for a boob job in august
---- half serious

but Im a bit dramatic when it comes to me aging
I look 12, I act 12.. and that doesn't work with getting older

But going along with the apartment thing.. I love getting furniture/new decorations etc and that never makes me feel old haha. We only moved into our place in January and we're still getting stuff together and its sooo exciting every time something new comes

HOLY SHIT I AM OLD! I just bought new furniture and i spent this last weekend buying new silverware, tablemats, dishes, and paintings. ahh fuck. I feel like i becoming more mature. goddamit.

Love the Banksy framed prints though!

Posted by Slylee on Jun-12-2008 01:34:

i need some art work for my place. is there a way you can put your photography on canvas? probably have to go to a print shop or something?

Posted by Orbital32 on Jun-12-2008 01:38:

just search photo and canvas in google

here is one:

http://www.photogonia.com/

they come in all different sizes. 64" by 32" seems to be the biggest though.
