Only Niko Kovac is retiring. Simunic and Robert Kovac will stay, as might Simic as an experienced sub. Everybody else is young and will be peaking. i can see that happening too. we had the same team knock us out of the 04 euro & 06 wc, seems fitting another team should stop us from getting to both the 08 euro & 10 wc, i can picture it already. fucking england

Lol, you've got a half decent team with good technical ability, you just lack what other teams like Russia tend to be able to do : play good, entertaining, attacking football. Who else of note is in your WC Qualifying group anywho? I know there's Croatia, but there's always the other slot up for grabs

I didn't know Robert Kovac and Simunic weren't retiring Fledz, sorry, seems like the old dawgs still got something to give yet

ukraine was the only other noteworthy one. shouldn't be *too* taxing although they did reach the quarters last WC.. i can't say as i've been following them recently though
