i seriously cant believe some of you people....someone started this thread because they wanted music that was for or influence of 9-11 .
and people have the nerve to post these non-sense of how 9-11 meant nothing to them....u dont have to have any sympathy or any sorriness or whatever... just dont make jokes out of the thousands of lives lost....thats just wrong.
lets get back to the point of why the thread was started.

Cool

my 2 pennies:

1. This was a great tragedy, and I feel for those directly impacted by it.

2. It could have been prevented if fukkin Bush and the rest of the american whatever u call em knew or cared about the possibilities and warnings of the middle-eastern terrorist groups.

3. Unfotunately I think it will happen again if the usa isnt careful

4. It is good that tracks are made to commerate these events, but to be wanting music that was for influenced by 9/11 is sick.

5. There is many British tragedies that the Americans mock the Britains a helluva lot 4, to which our forfathers have died because of it, and heritage is very important over here, where we actually are related to those which died.

6. IMO, this should be in chill-out now

7.

WELL he didnt demonstarte hear deliberatley making fun of 9.11....
He blatantly showed ZERO respect for American TAs as a whole and considering i lost 3 friends that day i would say i have every right to defend their lose when some ignorant moronic immature child decides to make light of such a devastating trajedy.,...

Well, I've been observing this discussion with some amusement, despite the obviously tragic subject on which it's based. Why? Because several amusing things have come out of it.

Conclusion 1: DuMondeTranceR is an idiot. Dude, that first comment you made about Tiesto's song was one of the most disgraceful and insulting posts I've ever seen on these boards. Why would anyone make fun of a tragedy? Regardless of your feelings about it, thousands of people lost their lives. What a retard you are!

Conclusion 2: All of you Europeans claim to be "pacifists." You all have your "peace-love-unity-respect" (PLUR) slogans splashed everywhere. Guess what, though? You're hypocrites, and you're as far from "love" and "unity" as one can get. Just look at how you behave and what you post here, and what attitudes you have.

thansk dude.,.,.,

but its true....u will see time and time again how European TAs call us arrogant or they attack us on our music or are style or what have you...thats why i dont post as much...turning into Trance.NU with their American bashing all the time....then they say shit like we are self centered and all that crp well all they are showing is that they are rude and obnoxious like the stereotype they already have...but u NEVER ONCE see an American TA put down or talk shit about an European nation or fellow TA...i am tired of that shit entirely....

Posted by sykadelik on May-22-2002 19:22:

Dunno

OK tiesto14 jes quit it and lets get back to the forum topic!

thats why i got so angry cus i did lose friends that day....people like Dumonde Trancer are just mentally disturbed

Posted by bluejay on May-22-2002 20:17:

wow...i have been following this thread to see where it was going to end up...and it really hasn't gone anywhere. here is my take on all this...btw, sorry kinda long...had a lot on my mind...

1. 911 is not comical relief and anyone who thinks otherwise should think about how fortunate they are that they didn't lose anyone from the tragedy...cause if they did lose somebody, they would not make a joke of it. i think that's why some people are losing their wigs, but anyway look at it, laughing at the death of people is not cool.

2. the majority of americans do not want sympathy...but we want mostly the whole world to understand that what we went through was not cool. so, if you were in our shoes, i think you would expect the same amount of sensitivity from this tragedy.

3. we all will always have and hold different ideas and values on life, music, history, etc...but making threats and ignorant comments aren't helping things. in fact, some of the comments made here on this board only makes me realize that there are some crazy mf*****'s out there that will do anything to get their point across. let's not be hateful...it's not in trance's culture and we all at least agree on trance.

im not going to attack as your person, but i want you to see it from my point of view when i read something as the stuff you wrote.

1. do you think it was cool for me/other ppl from yugoslavia and etc, when the US bombed yugoslavia for no reason some years back? =/

2. do you think it was cool for me last year when there were albanian rebels in macedonia, which were supplied with weapons and shit from the US...? =/

it wasnt so cool going through that either, but still the US continued what they were doing =(

hope youve realized that you(americans) arent the only one...

where did you get that information from??...i dont EVER hearing anything about the U.S. supplying Albanians with weapons...

Noone said we are the only ones....but maybe your misunderstanding what happened on 9.11...THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of NON-MILITARY people in a NON-WAR time in America where brutally killed....for going to work.....if i am not mistaken when you say Yugoslavia they where going through war-time ...well that is in no way the same as 9.11...there is a difference...

it is 1 thing if a country is attacked during war, because it is expected...but when there is no war going on to be bombed for no reason is another thing..either way is TRAGIC but there is still a difference

again...we all are going to have different views even on history. i personally find it hard to believe that the u.s. would bomb yugoslavia for absolutely no reason at all besides killing random innocent people. but i really don't want to get into that...and to answer your question, no it's not cool when anyone dies...soldiers, but even more with innocent civilians. and of course i know that tragedies happen everywhere, everyday outside of the u.s. but i am sensitive when people do die for example i don't make jokes regarding israelis and palestinians, princess diana, the thousands of jewish people in the holocaust, etc. i know americans aren't the only ones that go through tragedies. it's not cool when people die. but i don't joke and laugh about it either.

greetz to you as well
