The Only Hope? Iran is westernized to the point where if the gov't refuses to talk to the new US president, there are enough Iranians who are so sick of war and rhetoric that they may very well rebel against the old hardliners who control the government and try for real democracy, like Poland. LOL ... after 9/11 Iran extended its hand of co-operation. Iranians in Tehran walked in the streets in a show of understanding and sorrow for the attacks. Iran offered help to USA, handed over Al-Qaeda operatives to them. And what they got for that - got added as a terrorist state, "Axis of evil", frequently got their airspace breached, threatened some more. And then the whole hypocrisy about the nuclear technology (Israel, anyone?).

Over a year ago either me or shaolin or whomever posted some great articles on Iranian co-operation.

naive: thinking they would have not developed Nuclulars if we had given them the benefit of the doubt after September 11, 2001.

stupid: Iran is a state sponsor of terror.

we've been called "The Great Satan" for decades. name calling is more important to the fools that believe Iran is somehow innocent of everything than it is to anybody else, including Iran. this childish hyper-sensitivity to "Axis of Evil" is just a shallow way for those fools to get their petty points across.

none of what i said before about Iran and their funding, training and arming of extremist militia groups throughout the Middle East is a secret. they freely admit it. it's common knowledge. everyone including the almighty UN accepts that as fact. there really is no two ways about it. but whatever
