They are only jealous on you and would like to have all the money and fame you are taking in the last months/year.

I'm also not a fan of your music, but i respect your work. Continue this way, but please stop remaking trance classics so the people will stop thinking what you do is trance!

Jealousy card!

I was re-reading over what I said and it is a little off there but I really don't care.

I don't really have something to compare it to. I'm not saying he has no 'reputation' I guess what I was trying to articulate but failed at was that after doing this EM he probably boosted his name and tracks quite a bit. Like people have said getting a slot on the EM is a pretty big thing.

Ha.

This has been happening for a while now, though: producers who use DJing simply as a means to advertise their own productions. And I guess if people go to see him play out expecting to hear a set of nothing but Deadmau5 tracks, then that's what they'll get and they'll have a good time. Something that predictable seems like a really boring time to me, but to each his own I suppose.

It's good to see you're such a good sport about all of this, and are clearly able to roll with the punches, but do you actually have anything to say to your critics/criticisms, or are you just content to mock them without actually responding to them?

...or do you just not care either way (neither of which would surprise me).

By the way...do you just travel with a suitcase full of mouseheads...or mau5head5?

I would imagine all these Mau5 suicides will amount to a hefty to bill at some point.

Posted by elFreak on Jul-20-2008 23:05:

this thread is not long enough imo.

So he is shit and obviously has no desire to work on becoming good and expanding his musical horizons.

Do we really need to waste any more precious internetz on this hack?

/thread closed.

christt!

never heard one of his DJ sets, but after seeing that tracklist i wouldn't rate him at all

Posted by jupiterone on Jul-21-2008 12:09:

okay

it was a little sketchy when Luciano whored the Cadenza label on his 2 hour essential mix but at least there you're talking about different artists.

But seriously, is there any specific reason why you did the mix that you did?

I mean, I've gone ahead and listened to it and it sounds just fine (definitely loved the Longest Road acapella). It's just that this is the first EM that I've ever listened to that has the DJ's own tracks throughout about 90% of the entire mix. Ever since I saw you on the upcoming Essential Mix schedule, I've been curious to see what music you listen to / would spin.

............your mix didn't really answer that question, lol.

i still think it is funnier that he slapped his name on edits that could hardly be called that. I don't like the monochromatic tracklist but i understand as he isn't much of a mixer at all so he plays it safe. The edit labels just tell me he would not be satisfied until he had his name on everything.
