Please tell me it's outdoors again! That was more than half the fun (Not that the music wasn't dope!), but the whole day rave outside on a Sunday afternoon is what made this event truly epic!

Sunnyside as a venue is epic in itself, its gotta be there again.

Easily one of the funnest days of the summer last year.

Wow that vid is crazy, i remeber seeing those guys

time festival was one of my favorite parties last summer, sad to see its not at the Sunnyside pavilion though, that's seriously a venue that needs to be used a lot more for EDM events

there are a few MILK parties that are held there over the summer too

considering the event isn't really officially announced yet who knows where it is going to be. I would definitely prefer it was at Sunnyside pavilion though.

anywho ... honestly I was pretty underwhelmed by the event last year and the fact that its @ sound academy this year doesnt really appeal to me. so unless they have a sick ass lineup in the solarium ... meh

I wonder why they couldn't get Sunnyside?

Anyway, I'm not so disappointed I'm missing it now.

Posted by Mach X on Apr-20-2009 01:29:

Surely there must be some other outdoor venue, if the capacity of Sunnyside was ever in questions for this years festival?!

I woke up the next morning on your couch wondering what the hell had happened the previous day.

Dam that was awesome.

Bigtime FAIL not having it at the Sunnyside Pavilion again. BIGTIME

Wonder who is rumored or booked to play Time Fest 2009... gonna have to be some pretty dope acts or DJs to make up for the lack of outdoors!

Posted by slingshot on Apr-20-2009 03:48:

I wouldn't be surprised if it was moved to Sound Academy this year as to avoid being kiboshed by the rain again. I'm pretty sure that the rain hurt attendance big time last year. Even if it's at Sound Academy, if they have a line-up like they did last year....don't act like you're not going to go...that line-up was super good.

I'd go yeah for the lineup, but again, what made it so memorable an enjoyable and unique was the whole "day-outdoor-rave" aspect of it... Awesome acts yeah, but just thinking about last year's festival, the first thing that I remember and get goosebumps and feel all warm inside was the whole outside, trees, warm breeze, sun, the lake, cold canned beers, sitting on the steps, fountain, flowers, etc... THEN the music... and the MUSIC was pretty fuckin dope! So that means that whole outdoor part... musta been a big deal!

How are they going to have 2 rooms this time though? That's what made it so interesting, the fact that they had 2 different rooms with completely different sounds and crowds.

Also, Sunnyside is the best outdoor venue in the city for parties like these IMO. It's a real shame they're not back there.
