So is this whole Armin Only rumor in LA on NYE out the window with Moby being annoucned by Giant?

Or is it not an "Armin Only" but just him at giant maximus again (along with Moby and other artists tba).

Imagine it can't be insomniac unlease they aren't gonna be involved with TAO.

Maybe another promoter is handling Armin Only if it's happening?

I'm confused!

hey who was the promoter of Tiesto in Concert august last year?

Moby is the only one anounced. Not 100% sure whats happening with Armin yet. I know Maximus does have at least one more big headliner. Everyone will just have to wait to know who for sure. Still plenty of time.

Guess the latest rumor re: Armin is that he'll be at Sensation NYE in Melbourne, Australia.

Just a rumor from the Armin boards.

Posted by drEamer on Sep-17-2008 15:47:

that sucks,.....not coming to LA for Moby

That would just make sense because Armin will be at Brisbane and Perth, Australia on Jan 3rd and 4th. He might as well play for NYE in Melbourne...

Australia has been getting bigger and bigger rave scenes lately...

Makes sense for Ferry to play there too

Ferry + Armin for Sensation NYE would be pretty bad ass.

has to get better than Moby!

I thought the same thing about Moby, until I saw his last set at the massive a few months back, and it was AMAZING....

That being said... are all you people forgetting how miserable Giant was last year. 45 minute bathroom lines, 50 minute drink lines.... VIP payment.. no help! Cops broke it up....

FUCK THIS EVENT....

Tiesto and AVB?! How many million times can you see them year after year, get sucked into the hype, and not get sick of it??

I'm with you on Callaghan, Deadmau5, and Sander though

Dude...seriously please don't ever come to another Giant event.

Posted by skell on Sep-22-2008 19:23:

I have to agree with BLOWZO on the horrible VIP 'amenities'. 30-45 minute bathroom and drink lines are completely unacceptable for 'VIP' treatment. Giant needs to perform a major 180 on that issue this time around. Please pass the word on.

Posted by dj_minor on Sep-22-2008 23:04:

Yeah Giant was fucking horrible. Not to mention the sound.

Posted by bigperf on Sep-23-2008 00:08:

looks like giant has been blowing a fat one recently....anyone have anything positive to say, or do their massive events just disappoint all around?

I'd like to know too - the VIP treatment will be a deal breaker for a lot people.

Posted by element-y on Sep-23-2008 01:18:

then again though in comparison, NYE at TAO isnt that great either. The production they put into that show always seems less than the others. LA needs to step it up and SF needs to throw massive NYE parties again
