Cage did some great entertaining films pre 2000.. But then he just did some absolute terribe terrible films..

Ghost Rider, National Treasure, That Deja Vu spin off - Next (Deja Vu was god awful as well..) and that awful Twin Towers film.. Which had cliche after cliche, with terrible acting and terrible story and was a mockery to the 911 disaster, if I was an American I would of being personally insulted by the patriotic shite that this film tried to put out throughout the film.

My super ex girlfriend, The Golden Compass, Cellular... Oh jesus, this might of just topped them.

I thought the Beach was good, not as good as the book and the end was weird, but I though before that it was quite entertaining!

Man, I dunno, some people really liked this flick, saying it was supposed to be a funny, action-packed ride.

But the action scenes were stale, the comedy was so far-fetched that it was more ridiculous than funny, and the acting, which was, I believe, supposed to be cheesy, was SO cheesy that I personally couldn't stand it.

And Paul Giamatti is a fine actor, but he did NOT pull off this role at all.
