Still, Jamie, I fail to see what the problem is. If I were you (or if my girlfriend did that), I'd be happy to know that the final meal is a result of my work and his/her personal touch.
I'd be offended if I were him, actually, because it sounds really selfish. If you're playing cook, let him play as well! 
My girlfriend does not like a lot of the stuff i like to eat. (seafood is a no no). It doesn't stop me from eating it and does not make me want to punch her in the snatch.

dude about a week ago he made pork chops with this special bbq sauce that he makes with REAL maple syrup from canada. i bet u so much money if i was like, "hey u got any tobasco?" before i even tried them, inside he would have been like "wtf".

that was a fun weekend and i even found some pictures from that weekend the other night when i was organizing an old box of photos. faye made me wear a gay "perfecto" label tshirt she had made and made them into halter tops. we ended up getting right in cuz they thought we worked for oakey lol
